Genealogy, just trawling through Hanwell

Hi,
Was this at St Marys Hanwell? I live really near there and often spend time in the church yard looking at the gravestones. Many are crumbled ruins but some are a couple of hundred years old and have really clear inscriptions. If you think they might be any of your family buried there you could give me the surname and i will have a look when next there.

Marilyn i was looking for a possible baptism of one of my own , as I know she later married in that church... I don't know much about the church , but I know all my relatives were poor lol, so seeing a Duke caught my eye .

I had the problem today trying to read very faded entries for baptisms , I had to ask someone in the Public Records if I could borrow their magnifying glass ,

I looked a right old twit ........ LOL

Didn't get anything exciting .....like yours !

parish records and noted a very faded entry , which in part says that " the son of the Reverend George Henry " ( obviously a long term vicar at the church as most of the baptisms are listed by him) was Baptised in the presence of
His Royal highness the Duke of Cambridge,
the Dule of Gloucester

lots of Right Honourables , that can't be deciphered and the Bishop presided...

Right Hon Flora Muse , in her own right Countess of London, and lady of Castle Moira?
