Afternoon all, lovely day here so I am busy about the place.

We have enough food in the freezer and cupboards but they aren’t crammed full with food, to keep us going for a while, it is the panic buyers that cause the shortages, we don’t panic buy anything, we were brought up in the 50s and 60s so know how to manage on next to nothing. :-D :-D :-D

I am shattered I need to be organised for the morning ,I am hoping to do a freezer at work tomorrow so they can stock up too ,I popped to the Aldi this morning ,i noticed the shopping trolleys were filling up again

I'm here, Maz :-) :-) :-) Just eating I am late again!!

I have been busy defrosting the freezer and getting it ready to stock up. Not that there is a lot of room in there, but I have got rid of a few bits and pieces The birds will be very pleased in the morning!! :-D :-D

I have also done some washing and finished painting the last patio chair of the set, w well chuffed, but am now shattered.

Where is everyone I had a shower today honest !!!

I am just looking in ,I am a little busy busy today ,
ZZzzz it si good to have time off as well as visit you need to be kind to your self
I did wonder where you were out on the broomsticks I guess they cant catch us on them for meeting up lol
I have the minutes to do from Wednesday evening ,and other things ,
My Phone is coming on Tuesday ,I am having an eye test Tuesday and ,and online shop before the stocks go The bulk loo rolls were out of stock already .
I am nipping out to Aldi for some yogurt later as I could not be bothered last night

Evening, I have probably missed you all now as we watched the match and then I got carried away with some card making. Didn't the idiots learn from the waste of time that stockpileing was last time. :-|. So much food wasted and thrown away I think the councils should prosecute the likes of those that threw loads out in their bins and they should be named and shamed.
Folk around here are pretty good at wearing face coverings, I personally hate them but I always wear my special one with the shield on that OH bought me :-D :-D

ZZzzz, I'm pleased you were able to chat with your hubby :-) I hpe he can come home next week, but they need to make sure he is sorted out before they do.

LG, I am beginning to wonder when this will ever end. Someone has been posting about people starting to stock pile again with loo rolls and pasta. We're not even at risk of local lockdown yet, but somebody bleated about it having been on the radio that we were :-| :-|

Maz, people round here are generally very good at wearing masks. There is always the odd one or two but on the whole it's ok, I can understand your anger and I would have been angry too :-| :-|

Nice to have a treat now and again.
I won’t be going in to visit him tomorrow though, I’ll go in on Monday.

well I have calmed down ,shouting at drivers makes no difference as they dont bother as they lone work they are in a dangerous position .and its one of the rough areas where you keep quiet

Poor fella, I do hope he improves soon.

He feels tired all the time and drags him feet when he is walking but I think that is because he has lost a lot of blood and is in bed most of the time, but I’m not a medic.
On the plus side his hip and back don’t hurt so much.

Oh that was good then ZZzzz, much better than texts etc as you say. How is he today?

Hello all, yes I did manage to chat to hubby for about half an hour in the corridor, much better than texts and emails, we both felt better for it.
My very old broken mobile phone could be mended if the chap has one the same to take bits off and put on mine. :-D

I am standing up stamping my feet and going to "Rant !!! the bus I have come home on I was the only one wearing a mask .I feel like shouting at them for being so selfish .when we do not want a full lock down again and I have worked all the way through the year as a key worker and i am really p@@@@ off
Any way hi folks after that I looking at a new phone as it seems sweat pea is still in my home .

It has stopped our plans for visiting the Gooners which is very depressing. With everything else going on here it is really getting to me.

Maz, that is definitely the safest option, even though its hard when you are helping people.

I went into the office today as someone wanted access to pick up some files, It was very strange, but surprisingly clean to say that the cleaners haven't been in for 6 months. The stationery cupboard has been raided, so some have obviously been in and out!!

LG, too right, I cant stand the thought of another lockdown. I already spend so much time on my own and if I have to stop seeing the family I will be one very depressed person. It has started to scare me somewhat now at the speed at which it is accelerating.

Oh well, bedtime for me ladies :-) No alarm in the morning, whoopee!!!!
