Evening both, I am cream crackered from gardening so I have sat crafting all afternoon.
My oldest stepson does the really heavy stuff for us in the garden, today he moved a couple of heavy rocks that we could not move ourselves.
Well done with the exercise YG :-D

Hi Maz :-) :-)

My gardener doesn't take the waste, although he did during lockdown when the green bins were full. I normally cope well with it. He will be trimming the tops of the hawthorn and doing the sides and top of the privet to tidy it up for the winter. The hawthorn will start losing its leaves anytime now, so the sides don't need doing.

I am just waiting for a cheese & onion quiche to warm through, then I can have my meal, Salad with it tonight and I have also been for a walk right round the lake in the park across the road, so a bit of extra exercise today :-) :-)

Hi YG our rates are the same I think so its not bad I am having the whole of the hedges trimmed it is a big job and to get it taken away is the bonus .
The weather has been quite good again today .
ZZzzz is quiet today unless she is pushing lots of ZZs up catching up on her sleep .

Evening everyone :-)

Maz, that's not good news for your gardener. I hope it is treatable for him :-(

I have two men, working for 1.5 hours and it costs me £32, which I find a bit steep, but it is what it is and it saves me a lot of work, They come once every four weeks from March to November. During the growing season, R comes in between their visits to cut and edge the grass.

The washer was fixed today and I put in load in after he left so decided to put another cleaner through a cycle and the washer was dead. He thinks he might ot have pushed the plug in properly as it was ok when he tested it, so the cycle that I used might have just shaken it loose, He is coming back in the morning as I cant pull it out on my own :-0

LG, I am managing about the same amount of sleep as you. Usually by the time I've tidied round and cleaned make up off, its getting on 11p when I settle down and I am still waking at 4ish -| :-| :-| :-| I think we both need a hammer over our heads :-D :-D

ZZzzz, I hope you are well today and have a good day. No moles to contend with now!!

Morning Maz, that is sad news about your gardener and so young too.
I am pleased your radiator is fixed with the cold weather coming up.I have just come in for caffeine and feet up after being in the garden for a good while.I have had the shredder out and it is so satisfying being destructive on something that doesn't matter. The garden bin is now full to the brim again ready for Wednesday :-D :-D

Morning all, another load of rain forcast for later so I will probably go and drag the garden shredder out and diminish the pile of prunings that are on the lawn. Have a good day one and all. <3
