ZZzzz, well done with the phone. I hope you soon get used to it. I have an older version but really need to change it now if I want to download more apps. My son bought it for me when they changed their phones at work so was hoping that I would get a newer version the same way, but they are not renewing them at the moment.

Maz, good luck with the course!! You are brave signing up for one. I don't think I could commit myself nowadays!! Pleased you enjoyed your meal :-)

I have recovered now though I am in need of doing some work on here ,I live in Co Durham so not far from Framwellgate Moor at all .to get into the city takes about 50 mins on the bus .

Evening both, I managed to get out in the garden for a while and keep myself busy. My mobile is steam powered ;-) :-D :-D. It sounds as though you have both had good days

I went into town to get my phone sorted, I now have a smart phone, iPhone 11 something or the other, they have transferred the numbers from the broken one but nothing else, I’m happy with that, I have to get used to it. I’m absolutely shattered now physically and mentally.

Maz I didn’t know you were near Durham, some of my ancestors are from Framwellgate, small world isn’t it! ;-)

I am happily relaxed and tired the weather was good the meal was also ,brilliant so a good was had
I have just signed up to a course for the next few weeks in the evenings mainly Mondays it will give me some focus as it looks as if we may be doing a more restrictive lockdown .I will be able to study during the winter months

Morning Maz,it is sunny here so if it dries up a bit I might get outside for a little while. T is having his tonsils out today so I am trying to keep busy to take my mind off it. I hope you enjoy your meal Maz it will make a lovely change and most places seem very well organised re Covid rules

well I am going to be brave today we have a table booked at an ember inn on the outskirts of Durham so masks sanitiser already Its a lovely morning.so hopefully it will be okay .I am aware froggy does not get out much so fingers crossed .

You must have had the weather that we had on Saturday. It was atrocious but yesterday and today have been lovely, with just the odd shower in the evening. I think tomorrow is supposed to get windy, so we will see :-0 WE had better get used to it, I suppose!! I don't mind the cold, but hate rain!!

Another evening gone and nothing done. I'm going to bed now when I've made a drink.

It has been lovely weather today and was really very warm at lunchtime, but by the time I finished work, it had clouded over and was starting to rain when I went to R's. It's dark when I get up in the morning now. Oh joy!!

Evening all, you and me both YG I am feeling realyy peed off. I managed to get a little bit done in the garden but it chucked it down again so I gave up :-|

I need to do a top up shop so will do that tomorrow.
I got to the hospital for a blood test which I had booked on line a month ago but they said I wasn’t on the system, I’ve been going there for years so they did find me in the end and took my blood, took about 20 minutes all told, silly me I thought it was supposed to be quicker and better making appointments on line :-(

I'm on a bit of a 'downer' at the moment. Don't know what's wrong really. Perhaps a reaction to the dark mornings, wet weather and ongoing Covid. It has started to rise substantially over the weekend, jumping from 9 in hospital to 34, although only two require ventilation at the moment and there has been another death. We have done so well here, but judging by the state of things in As** yesterday afternoon, I shouln't be surprised.

I detest shopping there and only called for a couple of items that I cant get elsewhere and was disgusted at the behaviour of a lot of the customers. I won't be going back until I need to restock the items and then will go in the evening when it is quieter and I can be in and out in under 5 minutes.

We have had a lot of mixed weather today .My garden is now done not as good as original chap but not bad .its tidy at least .
ZZzzz hope blood test was okay .
YG you have been missed ,we dont talk much really but when you have a day off it takes a while to catch up again

Maz, I didn't know you were sending a plate over so the window was closed :-0 :-0 :-0 Yet another to clean, then had to go out again at lunchtime as the rain had left spots on the lounge window. I think they must have bounced off the patio table as the window is recessed, so normally misses the rain unless it is really windy!!

You are all hiding from me now so.......COOOOWEEEE.
