My GP sent me to the optician when what turned out to be dry eye was playing me up. I went in and was surprised to see one of the fellas from Moorfields where OH goes :-D. Men indeed Maz I give up in despair sometimes ;-) :-D

Evening from a windy northeast again
Eye sorted just need to get a prescription on Monday ,it is conjunctivitis he thinks ,I did not know that opticians can do eye clinics for NHS .
We went shopping I met froggy over by pound stretcher as instructed so i walked round ,saw him by the burger van and waved but he did not see me so walked back trying to look for me i kept shouting to him so had to ring him lol Men !!!

Evening all, OH says the weather is like a small child. Wet and windy :-D :-D :-D

Just out to the dusbin would have done us instead of the food shop :-D

Afternoon all, I hope you have all had a good day, it’s been raining all day here so we didn’t go out anywhere, well apart from to put stuff in the dustbin, does that count as going out?

Morning all
I am awaiting a phone call this morning ,I went to the pharmacy for some eyedrops yesterday as my eyes are sore thinking it might be conjunctivitis ,they said as I had had this a while they could not give me anything .So I went next door to the opticians who have taken my details and I now await a telephone consultation which is a pain as I am supposed to be going out to get some food with froggy and the last items to post.
However I am enjoying being home on a Saturday .

I have all sorts of answers for those type of calls depending what mood I am in :-D :-D :-D

I said this a while ago and it still makes me smile, son answered the phone caller asked to speak to Mr ...... son asked which one caller gave first name which was his, son said no you can’t he is dead, caller put the phone down.

it is because it is a Virgin fibre connection as baby boy had his on fibre with no phone

Mmm, strange, but then I'm no techie. If I could get the internet without my phone, it would save me a fair amount of money every year!!

At least we haven't lost you for two weeks!!

Maz, I don't like scammers either. They are despicable and a waste of oxygen :-| :-| One in particular nearly gave me heart failure when they said I was going to be arrested, until I stopped to think for a few minutes and get my head straight. It was the most frightful automated message but is now a well known scam.

LG, I might be thick, but how you are getting the internet when your phone line is down?

ZZzzz, I had a good run of not having to put petrol in during the first lockdown! I haven't done as well this time, but that's because I am in a bubble with my son and family, so can visit them to do my exercising 3 times a week. I normally fill up once a month at the moment.

I didn’t do the shopping nor put petrol in the car because I haven’t got the new pin yet :-( I hope those that scammed or hacked or whatever you want to call it my card have their big toes fall off. :-D

No the internet and TV are ok but he said new cable will improve those too. Yes we both have mobiles so no problems there

it will be peaceful but I guess you will have your mobiles to use so do you have the internet okay or is it still dodgy ?

Evening Maz, the phone engineer has just left and told us we have to have a new cable put in through the back garden. Very handy as it runs under where I need some jasmine roots dug up :-D :-D :-D. We are without the landline for another two weeks when they come out to dig up. Bliss it will be peaceful ;-) :-D :-D

I am home just been looking at the emails and now having some coffee
I am off at the weekend so plan is to get the wrapping and gifts organised for posting .Most is bought just a few bits to get
YG I cant kneel or get down flat I am so impressed .
I am laughing at LG and her description it would be the same for me too.
