I got on quite well at the pharmacy and she explained what my new meds are all about much better than my Doctor did. :-)

OH's have to be ordered in and the one in the next village never get them in at the correct time even if I order them well in advance. :-|

I’m not the only one that has problems with meds etc, some neighbours have and all the problems seem to come from the surgery, Doctors don’t stay long because of the attitude of said surgery.

LaGooner Report 9 Dec 2020 22:09

We can order repeats online YG but if we get problems while we areat the pharmacy they will sort it out there and then.
I hope all goes well tomorrow YG, nite nite ,sleep well :-D <3

YG Report 9 Dec 2020 22:05

Blimey, we don't even have to speak to the gp to get a repeat script if it is a regular repeat. We just order it online, or e-mail, giving 48 hours notice. The gp signs it and then it is sent to the chemist electronically to be dispensed,

I'm off now, ladies, as I have to be up on time and organised in the morning. I have the virtual AGM in the afternoon so need to be on form, well dressed and made up. That is asking rather a lot at the moment, as i'm knackered, but hey ho; i hardly think it is going to be a laugh :-D :-D :-D

Sleep well and I will see you tomorrow evening :-) <3

LaGooner Report 9 Dec 2020 21:56

We always have one on standby for any emergency calls and they can sort scripts too

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 9 Dec 2020 21:54

Ours doesn’t work that way, the Doctor you need to speak is never on duty (yeah right) and they are so far up their own arses they wouldn’t need a colonoscopy shoved where the sun don’t shine.

LaGooner Report 9 Dec 2020 21:42

I find it handy asif they get it wrong I can argue with the gp on the spot :-D :-D

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 9 Dec 2020 21:41

I tried that a while ago and it didn’t happen but I will try again, one online one wasn’t allowed to collect from the surgery, I think it is because the surgery would have to pay them and they want to make money, not spend it.

YG

YG Report 9 Dec 2020 21:33

Why don;t you sign up to have your meds delivered either by a local chemist's service or one of the online companies. The online ones keep a record and order them for you when tbey need replenishing and then post them to you, I used to use the local chemist's app service to order, then collect from them, but since Covid the gp gives the chemist 11 repeats for me, so I just call then Im ready for the next months supply.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 9 Dec 2020 21:31

I use the one at the gp's surgery as the one in the next village is a dead loss :-|

ZZzzz

ZZzzz Report 9 Dec 2020 21:27

The pharmacists are both female and in different pharmacies, it’s the surgery that causes the problem because they want us to use the one theirs but we don’t want to do that.
