Thank you LG
It wont make much difference the only thing is a hair cut ,and i can cope with out that again .as long as lives are saved .
I will be working and the lunches can still happen so it will not be too bad .
It would be good if the weather picked up then I could do the garden .

YG Report 30 Dec 2020 17:00

Our binmen are coming tomorrow instead of Friday, so mine is out ready and waiting. It will probably be frozen solid in the morning, so may need to swill the lid to free it up before they come. I don't want them leaving it unemptied because they can't open it! :-D :-D It was already solid when i put it out at 4.30pm :-D :-D

Is anyone staying up to see the new year in tomorrow? I went to bed earlier last year, but got up when I heard the fireworks locally to watch the display in London. Is there going to be one this year, minus the crowds?

I shall be going out again tomorrow weather permitting because I do feel better when I’m back indoors.
Lucky escape from the tier 4, we are still in it.

LaGooner Report 30 Dec 2020 16:40

Afternoon, well done YG my house is fully back to normal today, not a bit of glitter in sight.
Our binmen are due tomorrow so I have it ready to go out

YG

YG Report 30 Dec 2020 16:34

Afternoon everyone :-)

It has been a bright, sunny day, but very chilly!

I've been pottering, doing a bit of unmentionables and put a couple of things away in the loft, so just the tree to do, i don't take it down until after new year, so perhaps that's a job for Saturday. When Mum was here, I daren't do it until 5th as she was very superstitious, but now need it done and dusted before I start work again on 4th :-0 :-0

Just been checking the news and we have escaped Tier 4. According to some nurses interviewed in the SE this morning, some hospitals are sending patients to Yorkshire as they are overrun :-( :-( Good news about the Oxford vaccine though, except that there is a 12 week wait between the two injections. At least there is some light at the end of the tunnel :-)
