YG Report 2 Jan 2021 21:19

I enjoy it too, Maz, although not watching tv as i don't have a free socket in a suitable place for a tv unfortunately :-0 I didn't think things out properly when I had the new wardrobes made and two sockets are buried down the side of the wall that I can't get too!!

Mazfromnorf Report 2 Jan 2021 21:14

I think some shops up the street should be open because the supermarkets are taking the trade and are full .

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 2 Jan 2021 20:47

They did and there was an uproar. :-0

YG

YG Report 2 Jan 2021 20:41

That was what I thought, LG. I think Tesco blocked some aisles off last time as well for the Tier 4s.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 2 Jan 2021 20:36

Mine is going well at the moment but I don't want to speak too soon :-D :-D :-D

ZZzzz Report 2 Jan 2021 20:28

I do approve of that YG but I would be legless if I had a lot it is very moreish though.

LG I have had to demolish a lot of my tree because it is looking like my grandfather was born in Newcastle not Reading, most of mums side are from Newcastle, Durham and Yorkshire.

LaGooner Report 2 Jan 2021 20:00

It depends what you water it down with YG ;-) :-D :-D.

Our supermarkets are still selling that sort of items it was Sainsbury that were roping areas off when they had no need to. As I understand it , if shops are open to sell essentials they can sell other things too

YG

YG Report 2 Jan 2021 19:50

Maz, have they got some goods blocked off in the supermarket? I know it was mentioned when we last went into lockdown but didn't visit the supermarket during that time. I don't know what happened in the first lockdown as shopped local and none of them have general merchandise, white goods etc.

LG, I won't nod off with Baileys!! I have it on the rocks so it is diluted down a bit :-D :-D

Mazfromnorf

Mazfromnorf Report 2 Jan 2021 19:43

I have enjoyed myself today ,i am now catching up with all my programmes that i miss
My free view box is almost finished with so may save up for a smart TV for downstairs too .
I was thinking I may not be allowed to purchase a non essential item as we are tier 4 ,but I got lucky it was in the sale .

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 2 Jan 2021 19:38

You will be nodding off with those Baileys in you :-D :-D, I am filling in gaps on the family tree, or at least trying to :-D :-D :-D

YG Report 2 Jan 2021 19:20

Evening everyone :-) :-)

LG, of course I am generous!! :-D :-D You know me too well!! No, I wasn't out snowballing :-D Just been reading a post on the local notice board from someone at the other end of the road who saw a white car skid and smash into her neighbour's car and then drove off :-| :-| That's a worry for me with being parked near the corner as they turn into the road. I always park well back as the main road isn't really safe.

I have been doing the jigsaw and having a large Baileys!! ZZzzz will approve of that. There might be another glass poured as well when I have eaten. Just waiting for it to be finish cooking.

We have plenty of white stuff ,I had a walk upto the church to check it out then ,went to ASDA and spent my Christmas cash on a new TV for my bedroom ,which was in the sale so feel chuffed .
It was very slippery on the way off the estate but once i was off there it was alright
