We have got a very cold draught as since the HA changed the door we have no cat flap so we have to have the toilet window wide open :-|

I'm ok, LG, thanks.

I have just been putting parcel tape down the side of the back door as there is a bloomin' freezing draught coming in. I think it needs new draught excluder, but I guess as it is not the usual sort, I think it might be a council job. I've been putting strips of cling film there, but the tape is more effective!! The hall radiator needs bleeding so I might have a go at that if I can get to the valve! They are easy to do, but I struggle to see the notch when it is in a restricted place to get to. I might leave it for R when he comes up again!!

Maz, I bet you are snug as a bug in a rug :-D :-D

We normally have peas but needed to use up the left over cauliflower.
We had the last two mince pies with a dollop of custard. Tomorrow we will probably have fish and chips.

Bloomin freezing YG :-| :-|. He did get out at 10pm on Xmas Eve with help from the fire and rescue, a tractor and low loader. :-0. He showed us a video on his phone of him wading trough the shop with the water filling his wellies.
How are you today ?

We do a big meal at lunchtimes and snack in the evening . It stems from OH working long hours as between 1 and 2 was the only time I could guarantee him being in at a set time. Sometimes he would not finish work until 9 at night or later and we did not want a cooked meal then.

My shop was mainly fresh meat.veg and fruit plus a few stock cupboard bits that were getting low. The freezers are well stocked so I didn't have to buy anything for them
