We have the heating up high but it is still chilly.

Evening all, it is really cold here tonight too.

We all have various amounts of leave to take due to being furloughed. Mine is ok as I only had 3 weeks total of furloughing plus the bank holidays given back to us, so can book another full week off plus 4 days then carry two weeks over to next year.

The government states that you can spread outstanding holiday over the next two years, but we have just had an email from the big boss saying that wants as much as possible using up before the end of the financial year, with a max of two weeks carried over, It doesn't give people many weeks to do it in!! I wanted to book the last week of March which takes me to Good Friday or the following week, so that I only use 4 days for it because of the bank holidays, but they haven't even set up the holiday calendar from 1st April yet, so I can't book it!!

No more of the white stuff today. It has been a bright day, but my goodness, it is noe shakingly cold tonight :-| :-| :-| :-| I'm sick of it now. Just starting to get enough daylight to go for a walk, but too cold to go out and enjoy it. I can't wait for some warmer weather. I try to keep thinking that a lot of people are worse off, but it is just one of those low days for me right now :-(

At least I have done with work now until Tuesday. :-)

I do like the longer days though light wise though ,I am a bit discouraged about not booking travel plans even in the UK yet too .I just want to visit my family as do everyone else .its mainly mum as she is 97 this year .

I dont like being selfish keeping all this snow here .Its blooming freezing

Afternoon all, please keep the white stuff up there Maz, we have sunshine but it is Beeee cold. Oh has had his jab and was impressed with how quick and efficient they were.

I am making Brunch for froggy as he has a furlough day but training later on
We have a lot of snow its easily a foot deep in the drifts ,
I have short legged wellies and its up near the top when I fed the birds this morning
Work is getting new floors laid today and tomorrow lol

It was the same when his Mum died YG but maybe worse as I was heartbroken too. I have a rant to myself quite frequently :-D :-D :-D.
We will get through this in time his whole family are calling him and keeping an eye out for him.
How did the eye clinic go this afternoon ?

I hate to say it, LG, but it could take some time. I went through it for months when Les's daughter died. It is very difficult as you don't know whether you are doing right or wrong half the time. You will just have to be patent, buy a bigger roll of tape for your mouth and walk away if needs be. He will get there. Just give him time You can always rant on here :-) <3

I know Maz, that it why I am keeping quiet. Normally I wouls give him a severe tongue lashing :-D :-D :-D
