The gas heating won't work if there is no electric to drive the pump so thank goodness our house is well insulated :-D |

That's good then, at least you can cook and drink, we have gas central heating and hot water but everything else is electric. |

It was almost an hour but we have battery lights and lanterns to hand so no problem. We cook by gas so we can always make a coffee, thank goodness :-D :-D |

Oh how long did it last? Not long I hope. We had power failures a lot and had candles, camping gas stoves and the like, then the substation was updated but we kept the emergency stuff. ;-) |
