Morning one, I've been up about an hour and as my mother in law used to say. I feel as though I have done 10 rounds with Mike Tyson.
I shall see how I feel later and maybe go for a short walk, if not I will continue digging up patios. :-D, how are you doing with yours LG.

YG

YG Report 16 Mar 2021 22:27

It must be a bit milder where you are, LG :-D The grass is showing signs now of growing so is likely to shoot up while I'm not looking!

I am off to see if I can settle down for the night. Sleep well LG and fingers crossed for some gardening weather tomorrow! :-) <3

Daffs ,mahonia and primulas are in full bloom and so is the winter jasmine. The grass had it's first cut a couple of weeks ago and needs doing again

YG Report 16 Mar 2021 21:49

Mmm, I would like to do some more outside if the weather allows. I need to get in touch with the gardener to see when he is planning to start again, as it usually in March, I don't know about your garden, LG, but the grass doesn't seem to have grown as much through this winter, The hawthorn is very late budding as well although every thing else has sprung into life. The daffs and hyacinths are flowering and new shoots are on the shrubs.

I would as they are handy. I also used it when I had a vile toothache

YG

YG Report 16 Mar 2021 21:06

There is a specialist website that makes them, so I think I will order one.

LaGooner Report 16 Mar 2021 21:02

YG

YG Report 16 Mar 2021 20:58

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 16 Mar 2021 20:37

LG, no, I haven't got a heat pad. Are they any good? M suggested I bought an infra-red lamp, but I'm so short of storage space, that I don't want particularly want to buy anything else that may want shutting away in a cupboard for most of the year!!

Evening YG, have you got a heat pad for your shoulder,if not it could be a good investment.

YG

YG Report 16 Mar 2021 20:00

Evening everyone :-)

You have been a load of chatterboxes in between all the FH and unmentionables :-0 :-0

I did nothing at all yesterday except chill out and sleep. Not a good day as was feeling absolutely c**p. Fortunately better today but wasn't very motivated when I got up this morning. It was drizzling, but cleared fairly quickly, so watched some tv and prepared a casserole for tonight.. When the sun came out, I went out with the steps and cleaned all the windows and frames. I raked over two borders and head headed the massive hydrangea and two other shrubs, swept up and vacuumed through inside.

That has upset my shoulder again, so hoping it settles down a bit before bedtime. Out comes the Voltarol again :-0
