Gosh with my Mum being illegitimate the possibilities so far they are America, New Zealand..... I need to understand some of the technical terms that are used on dna grr grr grr and once again grr.

I dread to think what a hotch pot of nationalities OH would turn up :-0 :-D :-D

DNA is marvellous through that on Ancestry.com I have family in Australia that I wouldn't have known about if I didn't have it done also a cousin in Peterborough, all in my Mums side, nothing on her Dads side yet, my JCB will be working hard now. Lol.

I am up sort of organised ,I have some training for Covid this morning then another tonight so I thought I would strip the bed and do washing in between on coffee breaks
I have a grumpy cat now I have washed the mattress cover that will be dry later on lol so its not made yet
I have a similar problem with my Grand father My Grandmother was a children's nurse .I was wondering about DNA

:-D :-D :-D :-D Loose women ;-). I had family lies too which really are taking some sorting.

I've drawn another conclusion about who my Grandfather is, it is that my Grandmother lied about who he is and that although family stories add up I haven't had a dna connection with his side yet but have had dna connections with Mums side. So I think the surname is a total red herring and she my Grandmother couldn't keep her knickers on and didn't have a clue who the father is. :-(

Both of us have big families so I have had to split them into 4 trees, maternal and paternal on both sides. OH 's trees are big and paternal one goes way way back.

I am trying to keep the edges tidy now ..

I haven't added Dad's foster parents yet it will take ages as they are a very big family. That is one to do when I have a year to spare ;-) :-D :-D :-D :-D

I did tidy a whole twig it was a large family and i was adding the new stuff and deleting the doubles which made it look a large family
My tree has three sides
Dads mums and mums foster mums which are related but to put the jigsaw together.
I have to go back a fair way .Mum was fostered with different people and I like to see if there are any connections as well .two are indirectly .Then there were all the lodgers who her foster mum took in

I came home and Tidied a whole twig on my tree
I am going through the quivering leaves and clearing them its quite therapeutic I am hoping to continue when I go back to work next week

Hi Maz, oh dear what will mum get up to next :-D. Lunch sounded lovely except for the flapjack, that is YG's thing though. It rained here just as I was going out to the garden so an afternoon of FH instead. Not mine though I am helping a friend :-D

Chatterboxes I hope your shoulder is less painful YG ,I have just finished community day .It was busy as usual Lunch was Cheese and Tomato pasta then Chocolate brownie ,Bread pudding Or Fruity Flap jack ,all with custard
I am just catching up with admin and a cuppa ,washing the aprons and cloths too
My Mother has finally had her jab ,she said to the nurse that there had been a letter that said she should not have one and she had sent it on to aunty so were both consulted no letter had been sent and ,the nurse waited until her main carer came in at lunch time and bingo it has been done now we are going for a capacity test as a result of this .
It has been lovely today the first dry Wednesday since Christmas
