Now That is one thing that annoyed me in one task I was told to do in my old job was to clear out a disused building which I did, there were 5 lathes in there which had to stay there because it was government owned, because of that they couldn't be sold, I suggested they donate them to a college or university but they couldn't do that either, so they were left to rot away, ffs what a waste. |

My Dad was a cabinet maker and I learnt a lot of the skills from him. I am a dab hand at French Polishing and turning and carving wood. My one aim is to buy a lathe |

On my Mums marriage certificate her profession is cabinet maker but in fact she cleaned the glue off and polished tables and chairs. |

I have contacted a cousin through Ancestry and explained to him who I am and how we are connected, we have the same Grandparents and his Farther is my Uncle, however he knows nothing about said Grandmothers life over here. He was born and bred in Australia. |
