When we used to do the decorating ourselves, hubby would move and cover stuff, I would go in and paint, we are the only people to live in this house so no need to wallpaper thank goodness.

I slept well the last two nights thank goodness. OH is away all day with the racing car tomorrow so I am going to start painting the kitchen.

I don't think so. I'm sure there will be enough of them. I just have to hope that M doesn't ask me to go with them so I can see the house.

Did you have a better night last night? I had two nights in a row when I didn't need to get up and my shoulder was ok, then last night I spent the second half of it in pain with it again; Better luck tonight, I hope!

I have done my food shop this evening, so I can stay home all day tomorrow, do the unmentionables and then watch the D of E's funeral in the afternoon.

I hope you don't get lumbered with helping with the move as it is bloomin hard work.

I agree, LG. Hopefully life can settle down a bit for them now. They are just waiting for the sale to go through and A can move into his flat and get comfortable there. It won't be long after when V moves into her new house with bf, and I won't be driving over there, that's for sure. It's too far. I am sitting quietly hoping that they don't ask me to muck in and help them all with the move, otherwise I will have to go with R and I'll be stuck there for hours!!

It was the inquest for M's Mum today, by video link with the family due to Covid. The coroner reached the conclusion that due to lack of any other evidence to prove otherwise, it was an accidental death, due to cerebral vascular dementia, delerium, frailty and old age. I suppose it is the best outcome that they could have hoped for. At least it wasn't suicide. Unfortunately a journalist was present, so it has appeared in the papers with a statement from R, but the reporter got his surname wrong!

Oh Maz that is such a worry for you about your Mum, but sort of good I guess that she is at home, is she happier at home?

It's been a lovely, sunny day after a heavy frost, but chilly now. The frost isn't doing my the hydrangea on the side border any good as its leaves are drying up. I think I will have to prune it back a bit more once the frost has passed.

Maz, sorry to hear about your Mum. It's pretty scary thinking about getting older :-I'm pleased that she didn't have to go to hospital this time. It must be worrying for you.

Mum had another fall last night so OT is going to visit to see how her mobility is it seems to be when she goes to bed that she struggles in the evening .She was left at home this time but its not ideal

Good Morning all, bright outside so the first load of washing is in. I am going to have a bulk cook today to stock up the ready meals that help me lose weight. Everything is pre-measured so I just take what I fancy that day. :-D

It's Friday tomorrow. A long week this week, but got another day off booked for 30th April for a hair colour, so as it's a bank holiday Monday I will have a long weekend again with two four day weeks :-D I'm going to do the same for the one at the end of May.

I've booked the first two weeks in August off as well. Just wish I was going somewhere, but on your own it is rather difficult :-|
