What surprises me is that some locals still don't know this little estate is here but then you have to realise it is only been here since 1982 yep that's 1982.

It wasn't a long walk for me, LG as I am having similar problems. My right hip and ankle ache like mad all evening. The only that's comfy is bed, then my shoulder starts.
I am thoroughly fed up with myself right now.

Trouble seems to be kicking off up the road from here. Police called out and closed a road off as someone had fired a gun at a house. One guy tried to steal the cash from the tills at three different shops within 100yds of each other on Sunday afternoon. Yesterday afternoon a gang of 7 youths, 14-15 yrs old attacked a girl and a man on his way home from the shop intervened to help her and pulled one of them off her, then they all attacked him with knives and injured him in the stomach, arms and face. Luckily they were superficial wounds. It used to be a nice place to live, but the top end of the estate is getting bad.

I can't walk far at the moment as I have a bit of knee problem. We went to get some food in this morning and by the time I had been round the shop I was limping badly :-|

LG, I've been hiding in the same four walls that I'm always in, apart from a couple of walks in the park after work

Mazz, you are having a bd time with your Mum, but glad that you now have a solution. I hope she will settle in respite care.

LG. well done with the kitchen painting and cleaning. Hard work, I know, but very satisfying when its done!

I thought N was further north for some strange reason :-S.

N is in the middle of UK and has wheels so is able get for a couple of days .
Then I will go if its going to be permanent .mum could be placed anywhere within the catchment area .

Evening I have started a deep clean of the kitchen today.
That is good news Maz, at last they are seeing sense and trying to help her. That is a bit of a long haul for N isn't it.

Glad you can relax a little now Maz and hopefully your Mum will get the care help she needs.

Evening all
I have been home about an hour I have had a potter in the garden and made a nice cup off coffee .
Mum saga we have talked at length to the ward ,and also the care company ,we are all united in that she is not safe at home so we have agreed to respite to see if nutrition will help and some stimulation .will help
so had a good chat and n is going to do the emergency run for clothing etc
so for now I can relax a little

We have been pressure washing out the back yard, didn't do it all though so more to do yet., but not tomorrow, I'm going to do some retail therapy, well sort of. :-D

I would go off on one big time too Maz. My 2 sister in laws and I had a go in the hospital when Mum in Law was not being looked after properly. We must have looked like a monster with 3 heads but we got results :-D. I do hope a solution to it is sorted very soon as it is very worrying for you <3

I escaped into the garden for a little while ,and did some tidying up its been lovely .just had a catch up with Auntie The LPA is coming out and activated .We are united in that she can not manage at home at present the hospital is unsure .we have had so many different sides to the story .and its so frustrating .So glad I am not down there as I would be losing my rag me thinks any way I am going to turn the phone off up
stairs tonight .

Oh goodness Maz, it doesn't sound as if they know what they are doing does it. :-(. I have just finished painting the kitchen walls and the next job is the gloss paint. OH will have to help me with te skirting boards as I am not allowed to kneel on my bionic knees :-|

we are no further forward ,Staff nurse says she is fine cant cope at home but want to discharge her after an assessment ..
Its unreal we are going to push for respite at least if we can

Afternoon everyone I hope you are all well, my day so far has been kind of busy, flitting from one job to another, got a lot done but nothing to show for it, my Dad would say it makes you want to throw the whole house up the chimney.
My venture into town will be Wednesday haven't been there for more than a year, just to have a mooch and a tea with my friend.
