:-D :-D : if it doesn's rain on your hairdo it will probably rain on mine on Wednesday morning

I was going out with the hosepipe but as the forecast was for substantial rain I decided not to. Now I wish I had!! The heavens will probably open when I walk out of the hairdressers tomorrow afternoon!! I think its forecast for about 3pm!!

We had a few spots of rain early afternoon but that was it. We planted new grass a couple of weeks ago so we are watering it well with the watering can. It is keeping us fit going in and out of the house :-D.

We have had a shower here, LG, but it was nowhere near what was needed. More forecast for tomorrow, but showers, so not sure that will be enough either. The soil os so dry I am afraid that I might lost the hydrangeas for this season. I will probably have to cut them right back.

Evening YG, I am willing it to rain as the garden is so dry and I can't use my hosepipe now that the taps have been changed :-|.

You have been busy girls!! I have been busy working, but apart from that not done much!

I fell asleep last night at 7pm and didn't wake until 9.30pm, so a bit of catch up from the bad nights. I am still snuffly, but feeling a bit brighter. I am wondering now if it is a cold, with symptoms suppressed by the jabs :-0

No more work now until Tuesday, but the weather isn't going to be good. I was hoping to clear the shed out, so may see what Sunday is like as that is the better day of the weekend.

I knew we would have wind and rain on the way, as the cherry tree blossomed last week and every year we get the same weather to blow the blossom everywhere!!

I have just done a bit more painting in the kitchen and just the skirting boards to do now. That is OH's job as I can't get down to them now :-|

afternoon i did start posting before 12 but got a phone call ,Mum is beginning the assessment process now for the next step .Hopefully she will be in long term care but it will all depend on her capacity now .The XSocial worker seemed very promising so we will see how it all goes .

I don't give him the list I just give him orders from it :-D :-D :-D :-D

It's no good me writing a list unless it's for myself because hubby just gets on with them or gets someone in to do them if he is unable, also he hates lists because of the way he was brought up and was in the Air Force.

Morning ZZzzz, I was just about to post as you popped in. I am pleased in some ways OH is retired now and ok while he is spending days here and there at the workshop clearing out. I am getting a list of jobs that need doing around the house ready for when it is done :-D :-D

Morning all, it's good that you are both retired LG, I can't wait till hubby has retired and we have more freedom.

We are both retired now so we do what we please when we please :-D

We do that most of the time now I'm retired and hubby is semi retired there is no rush to do a lot of things anymore. :-D

I am not sure what I will do tomorrow yet. I just go with the flow these days depending on how I feel.

Even busier tomorrow, pulling furniture out to vacuum behind and under it, not too long ago I could have done it on my own but now I need hubby to help me, it will take most of the day with taking rubbish to the tip too.

Evening , my goodness you were busy. I have been doing some more painting and lots of little household jobs :-D

I'm ok thanks, been busy, helped hubby clear some of his rubbish and it is rubbish from the shed, we will taking it to the tip tomorrow, an appointment has to be made first :-( put a wash load on, a bread and baked a Victoria sandwich. Phew and breathe lol.

Morning all, my headache seems to have gone for now thank goodness. It is one of the joys of being a Hayfever sufferer :-|.
I was up early so the bin is out for collection,first load of washing in and nearly done and the kitchen wiped round. :-D

Strangely enough, I woke up this morning feeling pretty crappy with my eyes streaming and blocked nose, with a tingling of cold sores on the edge of my nose. No other cold systems, so wondering if I'm starting with hay fever I've never suffered before, but I suppose there's a first time everything !! A co-codamol has sorted the headache!!
