I think you can get a test done without them supplying an aid . H had hers through the GP and paid nothing

It'll cost me a fortune to get a hearing aid from them if i need one, LG :-0 :-0 I'm not sure whether it is natural loss of hearing, a blockage of was that I can;t clear or a mastoid.

I have not had to spek to a GP yet,touch wood. Have you thought of going to specsavers for a hearing test YG?

I think they are going to become a regular thing, ZZzzz, but they are still supposed to offer a face to face appointment if they think its necessary during the phone call. I don't like the idea of it. The only upside is that it will relieve them of those who often waste the gp's time taking up appointments that weren't really necessary and could have been dealt with by another means;

I need to make an appointment to get the hearing checked in my left ear, but I keep putting it off. He will be lucky if he can diagnose it over the phone :-D :-D :-D I'm not quite sure that that he will be able to see inside my ear down the phone!!

I'm getting a bit anxious now, I have a phone appointment tomorrow with a duty Doctor but I really need a face to face one, there is a chance I will get one if he or she deems it necessary. :-(

Evening YG, my you do see life up there don't you ;-). We were out in the garden for most of the morning but it was so hot we stayed in after lunch. I dragged out our external hard drive and started sorting out the photos on it,what a task that is :-D

It has certainly been another lovely day and the majority of it spent in the garden. I called at R's to pick up some cleaning materials that C didn't want. She is emptying her bedroom ready for Dad to start decorating it tomorrow.

I got stuck 200 yards from home on the way back, as there has been yet another accident and the police had the road blocked, so I had to turn round and go on another route They finally cleared it about half an hour ago. It will be an interesting meeting with the police and council tomorrow evening :-D :-D :-D :-D

I have been putting bits outside the door and stuff has gone the rest is being dumped by the van man thursday our next task is to label it all to make sure it goes to the right place .he is going to take stuff to charity shops and dump the rest legally.
It has been hard emotionally as well as tiring .I am waiting for N she is stuck on M25 at Chobham so a few miles a way yet.

Evening Maz, it sounds as though you have quite a task there. Have you found homes for it all ?

Its been lovely out I have seen a bit of it by having tea breaks out on the wall .I popped into town to get some more boxes
I have cleared all the cupboards now cant totally clear until Wednesday as I need a few things until then N is arriving within the next couple of hours so will need to make beds when her camp beds arrive .
I have crates and boxes all packed some to be sealed and labelled yet .

Morning Gwyn we rarely have roast dinners, to much trouble for the two of us.
We go to garden centres on week days and when its term time, hubby can't cope with crowds these days.

Morning. it is lovely here too Gwyn so we might well venture outside in a while or maybe take a trip out to a garden centre because I need to buy some herb plants.No Pimms for me but a coffee is good

Another beautiful warm and sunny day.

Garden bin is nearly full, but we're hoping to squeeze a bit more in later.

Postponed Sunday roast yesterday, as we were so busy outside, so that will be cooked today.

That sounds like a good plan :-D, treat today like it is a Sunday, on the patio with a Pimms, ice and a slice aka Coffee. :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I have 2 loads of washing out on the line, washing up done and bathroom and cloakroom cleaned. We will go with the flow now but OH is supposed to be painting our gate and shed,watch this space ;-) :-D. I have just watered the garden pots and will be sitting down with another coffee before deciding what not to do. :-D

I am "as well as can be expected" hubby is cleaning the windows and it's jolly cold, I'm on the usual H word stuff, what are your plans for today?
