Evening everyone :-)

Maz, you have been a busy girl today!! I'm pleased that you have sent Glen on his way, al long as its not in this direction :-D :-D Send him back to LG's !!

It looks as though LG might have been busy with the unmentionables as well, while ZZzzz is chilling out with friends :-)

Another beautiful day, but more or less only seen through the window again!! I have been naughty today and had quite a lazy day workwise. I lost the will to live and the line manager has been on leave for a couple of days, training to do her volunteering sessions at Wembley for the footie.

Poppy is still at the vet's hospital and is staying there again tonight so that they can do the tests in the morning when her sedation has worn off properly and can then hopefully come home. They are a bit puzzled but think that it may be Addisons Disease, which is an adrenal gland issue. She will need long term medication and regular blood tests to check that her adrenalin levels are satisfactory. I just hope we get a firm diagnosis once and for all.

Oh poor Poppy I hope she will be OK. <3. The interview he had the other day seemed very impressed with him so fingers crossed. The Mini Gooners are delighted that Daddy is there, they think the world of him and him of them.

Oh dear, I hope something turns up from one of those then, LG :-0

I have just had a call from M to let me know that Poppy is at the vet's overnight on a drip She has been yelping occasionally and was at the vets this afternoon for her routine check up and they thought she was just dehydrated, but M says she is very lethargic this evening, although she survived the dog groomers this afternoon, albeit that she yelped a couple of times while she was there. She does tend to tear round when she has a mad half hour, so we are wondering if she has strained herself, but won't know more until tomorrow morning.

He is not working at present but has had a couple of promising interviews. H is the breadwinner at the moment so they are coping OK.

He's lucky to have found another job at the moment, LG, although they seem to be opening up a bit more.

YG

YG Report 7 Jun 2021 21:52

I don't blame you, ZZzzz. The costs are just a rip=off nowadays :-|

He was in the job for 7 years and only left two weeks ago. He went back at football after only 6 months,he is a tough fella :-D :-D. His accident was 4 years ago now which I always remember as it happened a week after I had my second knee job. We were both on cruches at the same time :-D :-D. I just thought it will be 5 years in July.

I don't know how some of them warrant their prices ZZzzz

One private dentist I used for years retired and sold his practice, the new one wanted more than double for a check up and any follow up treatment was more than double too, I said no I'll go somewhere else.

YG

YG Report 7 Jun 2021 21:38

Oh wow, i didn't realise he had that sort of job!! I assumed it would be manual work of some sort :-D :-D

How is his leg nowadays? Has he managed to take up any football again?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 7 Jun 2021 21:32

He has left there now but he was reception and dental assistant.

YG

YG Report 7 Jun 2021 21:26

What does he do, LG?

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 7 Jun 2021 21:25

:-0 :-0 :-0 I know how expensive private care can be due to H's J working in one.

YG

YG Report 7 Jun 2021 21:20

Mine wants to charge £50 for a consultation just to tell me what I already know, and that's before the final bill of several hundred pounds :-| :-|
