LaGooner Report 14 Jun 2021 09:09

Morning all, 21 here already so it looks like another day indoors for us except for popping out for fresh bits from the shop.

Hubby does the gardening I help where I can but it means the weeds don't take over and the gardeners do a lot which helps a lot because we aren't as able as we used to be. :-D

A gp on the tv last week, recommended a cold 'hot' water bottle. I might try that tonigt. At least if I wake during the night in a hot sweat, it will still be cold!

I am off now, LG :-) It is going to cool off a bit this week, so I hope your hay fever gets a bit better. Try to have a good night :-) <3

LaGooner Report 13 Jun 2021 22:07

I will be having a cool shower before I go to bed to see if it helps.

I'm going to bed shortly, with the fan on all night. i didn't sleep well last night, although I managed to get an hour this morning. I woke early and read for an hour, then nodded off sitting up in bed, so I must have been more comfortable!!

Sunshine is lovely, but I cant do with this heat, \:G :-| :-|

I felt really rough yesterday with headache and sneezing, the hayfever really took it's toll.
It is stuffy here too this evening so it looks like yet another disturbed night for us all. I hope your back eases soon <3

Evening LG :-)

I was outside for about an hour doing some pruning and the sweat was running into my eyes. As soon as I finished, i was back indoors. There was no air it was unbearable. I have been back out this evening to water the garden and its still stuffy out there.

I woke up feeling pretty rough this morning and its hung around all day I am wondering if it was the lack of food yesterday as I feel better since I have eaten tonight, although I can't shake off awful back ache.t.

Evening everyone :-)

Sorry you are all suffering one way or the other with the heat :-0 It has been overcast here today but awfully warm and muggy.

I'm not a happy bunny because of all the footie on tv. I don't like the BBC much so there as ITV has all the evening slots for Euro 2020 it is going to be a very painful month for me :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-| :-|

I was absent yesterday as went to V;s to see the house. A complete waster of a Saturday afternoon waiting for her to pick me up, supposedly at 2.30, then 3pm, then 4pm and finally at 4.40. R was going to drop me back home when he finished doing jobs for her around 7pm, but we were there until 10pn, starving hungry, so called at KFC on the way home and they had run out of chicken :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

I have had the phobia about eyes and nails since I was small. The optician I saw on Monday was very good and reassuring thank goodness :-D

ZZzzz Report 13 Jun 2021 13:00

I watched an eye operation when I worked at a private hospital, fascinating and helped me overcome my phobia of them.

LaGooner

LaGooner Report 13 Jun 2021 12:43

I do OH's eye drops for him twice every day, not at all pleasant as I have a phobia about eyes :-P

I used to have to hold my sons eyes open while he did that to his eyes, not nice but necessary.

LaGooner Report 13 Jun 2021 12:09

Afternoon ZZzzz, dry eye can be uncomfortable indeed but something you have to live with :-D. I have a spray and drops which give a bit of relief for a while thank goodness
