Evening all, it has been lovely here too. I have caught up with a few phone calls to friends and we went down to see our niece this afternoon. We have just had tea and cleared away so it is feet up for the evening now.
My goodness Maz,what inconsiderate neighbours you have :-(

well I have found the sunshine ,Its lovely I have had some pointing done this morning above my kitchen window ,also cut the grass and had some rest
I have the grumpy cat as bed was changed also ,
I had a really bad nights kip my neigbours decided to create a row by being drunk and ,lighting a fire they were burning beds and all sorts of stuff then trying to dance around it .and banging the brazier with a stick the smoke filled my room my bed was covered in soot even though my windows were shut the old vents are still in my rooms .I was not furious then they drove off in the early hours somewhere .I was furious just glad it was a non work day as i am knackered

We could do with a bit of sun too but saying that we did see it for a very short while earlier. Nite nite YG,sleep well :-D <3

Yes I agree with LG.

It would be money well spent in my opinion.

The windows are fine, but the key pad on the door locks are not flush and I read somewhere last week that if they are flush they are much harder to break into If the council agree that they can be changed, I will have to pay for them, but for peace of mind it would be worth it.

What is an anti snap lock? And the council might call the police out to you to find out why you did it, problem solved, you get the snap locks AND the boys in blue. :-D

That would spook me too :-0. I would definitely make enquiries about secure door and window locks.

Too right, LG :-( :-( I would like to get my door locks changed to anti-snap, but as far as I know, the council don't allow it. There is another meeting next week, but as I couldn't hear at the last one, it seems a bit pointless going. There is normally a council representative present who I have could have asked, so I suppose it will mean a phone call to the housing department to find out. The thought of someone breaking in whilst I'm asleep is quite alarming!

There is a definite lack of eye candy around at the moment!! In fact, I haven't seen any since before lockdown :-D :-D :-D :-D I am deprived and even missed the boys in blue carrying out forensics after a burglary during the night just up the road from here. I was so engrossed in work e-mails that I didn't even see them go past. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be burgled just to get them here :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0 This latest one is much too close for comfort :-(
