We are up there again on Tuesday but our Archivist is having an upsetting time with her OH who has had to go into a care home with Dementia. She is fitting in Archive time between visits and getting the legal stuff done bless her. I did get an email today to say that the Society talks are starting up again on the 6th Sept so it will be good seeing everyone again :-D

I thought you had started going to the Archives again. Was it just a one off visit for now?

I have a bedtime book on the go too, nowdays it is the only time I read. I do a lot of craft most afternoons which keeps me busy and I have just decided that I am going to build myself another Victorian dolls house :-0

Ha-ha! Enjoy the peace and the TV remote :-D :-D :-D :-D I am very engrossed in a book at the moment, but only at bedtime, so I need to go earlier so that I can get my teeth into a few more pages before sleep!! Its getting later and not enough sleep before the alarm goes off!! :-0

Me too as OH has gone to his mates and I can sit and get a card made for my friend's birthday while in full charge of the TV remote :-D :-D :-D :-D

I've had chicken goujons with a salad and some garlic bread :-)

All cleared away and sitting with my feet up now for the rest of the evening.

I have restrained myself a couple of times with ours in the past but they are usually very good.

That's what happened with one of our neighbours, well he joined another surgery before they could chuck him off.

The phone appointment I had this morning was a waste of time, I said as much to him and asked if he would be as unhelpful if it was a face to face one, a few choice words too but I didn't shout or swear, I felt like it though.

I lost a pound which is good for me as I always lose very slowly.Ihave raided the fridge and I am sitting here with a chicken salad :-D :-D

Maz, that was good of the council! I wish they would come and replace mine!! They are supposed to laying all new paths and gates at some point, but still waiting!

Gwynn, there's nothing wrong with coffee and cake sounds very good to me! I am hoping to meet a friend after work on Friday for a quick treat :-)

A dull, dismal and damp start here, but the sun is doing it's best to shine a bit now.

Yesterday elder daughter and I were going to go on another heritage walk, but the weather was so awful that we ended up going for coffee and cake instead.
Did nothing for our waistlines, but was very pleasant nevertheless!

All the fences in our garden are ours so the plants are all mine.
