I said it like it is in an email to the local council, i just asked when they would come out and cut back some over grown bushes making it difficult to walk along the pavement, they said it's not up to them and told me who to contact, I said no you tell them that is your job.

:-D :-D :-D I just say it as it is and blow the facial expressions :-D.

I had better go and throw myself under the duvet! I need to be up and organised in the morning and be properly dressed and presentable for work at 8am instead of looking like something the cat has dragged in!!

Not problems, LG, just lets say that some things definitely rub me up the wrong way. Not always their fault, one parent has a huge portion of blame! It makes me want to spit feathers or scream (whichever gives the greatest stress relief!!) :-D :-D :-D The trouble is that the older I get, the harder it is not to show feelings in my facial expressions :-D :-D :-D :-D

I keep looking at the website but there is no notification of them starting again yet. I have got cutting back to do but I am leaving it for now.

Our green bin collections start again next week, but it will be two weeks tomorrow (hopefully!) when ours are emptied, as we are on the wrong week next week! They are only going to be doing them four weekly though until November when they stop for the winter season anyway, so that's two lots of emptying to go!! I wanted the green bin as empty as possible, as the gardener will be trimming the hedge again next week, so pleased that I got rid of the grass.

It was lovely having Poppy for a while and she was back to her usual self now she has got rid of Oscar! They had him for a couple of days as V was off doing her own thing and she's out again tonight so the dog sitter has him tonight. She makes me very angry :-|

Evening YG, lovely cuddles for you. Lucky you getting rid of the grass cuttings, my green bin has still not been emptied. No news of the collections re starting yet so it will be compost before it goes methinks :-D

Rather late tonight but been cuddling girl fur for a couple of hours while they dashed to the tip before it closed at 7pm. At least I got rid of 3 sacks full of grass cuttings while they were going!! :-) :-)

Afternoon all,b een to WW , re stocked the food cupboard collected a parcel from the PO and now lunch is done and dusted we are parking our butts for the afternoon :-D :-D

I am pleased he is at last looking after himself and his partner has had a lot to do with making him see he needed to have a change.
It is good that R is taking it easier too

Back pain is awful and he has obviously realised his limitations now. You have to put yourself first at some point. R is the same, as he has started suffering again with his back and doesn't want to have more surgery. He is sensible to not do any heavy lifting and although he pushes himself sometimes, he will only do jobs he knows he can cope with.

He was finding the long hours too much and he cannot constantly bend over the prep tables nor carry half carcasses like he used to. He has had a lot of problems with his back over the last couple of years so he decided to call it a day. I now buy meat from Aldi as it is good quality and a good price too.

That's a big change. I'm pleased he is content there. Good for him :-) :-)

Sains***** have done away with their fresh meat, fish and deli counters, much to my disgust. To be honest, their meat was far better than the local butchers, so I rarely bought from elsewhere. Talking to one of the team leaders that I know, it seems that they were losing money hand over fist with those counters, so there must have been a lot of wastage.

He is very happy working at an engineering firm now. :-D
