Oh dear Maz. not a good day :-(

ZZzzz you were up early was it a shock ? Lol
Well i was very p@@@@ off not one bus turned up this morning for me to get to work ,I waited for nearly two hours ,before ringing a friend at 8.40 .
Then I had my mammogram routine one only ,and the buses were cancelled this afternoon so I had to get the one and only taxi out .fuming I was .
I hope its better tomorrow

Evening all :-D we have finally sat down after eating.

My goodness ZZzzz, you are an early bird :-D :-D. We have yet another tip run today and then back for OH to finish off the last cupboard shelf and me to finish painting the 'playroom' wall

Morning allWell just for a change I'm first on here but only because my day is upside down because of appointments and medications. ffs.

Our neighbour next door seems a strange one he won't even look at us

I think you are right, shame really as that was one way they could get to each other. When our current neighbours moved in many years ago we took a tray of tea and biscuits to them and a note to let them know where the nearest shop was and the Doctors surgery number and where it was too.

I think that times have changed but it does not bother us.

I wonder why they haven't introduced themselves to you or welcomed you yet, but maybe I'm to old fashioned and that it doesn't happen any more.

I have seen some of the neighbours but we have only spoken briefly to one

We have lived here since 1982, it was council house, we bought it and it is the only private house we have seen people come and go and we are the only original residence in all that time.

We don't know our neighbours yet, but they seem to keep themselves to themselves

You may have all been busy but I have been relaxing and had a lovely afternoon :-) :-)

The sun has been out all day, though a bit chilly when clouded over, but mid to late afternoon was like the middle of summer :-)

When I say no one to help us I meant family.

That is good, we do have neighbours that are very helpful and we are able to do shopping for them or take them shopping and other things we can do for them. it kind of like swap shop.

We are lucky n that we have two sons nearby who help with heavy work

What often happens here is that we have to do stuff because there is no one to help us but at least we still can.
