Good Evening Diane - How are you today?
If I were rich and famous I would be looked after by a private clinic, but as I'm not, I'll have to take my chances with the rest. Taffy is staying with us for a few days. He can't understand why someone else is calling to take him for a walk. Probably thinks I'm being lazy :-D

Hello everyone :-)
Sue sorry to hear the sad new's of your Uncle's passing, sending you and your family my sincere condolences and a ((( hug ))) to you <3
Amanda sorry to hear about the little girl and hope she pull's through <3
Tec it is disgusting that the NHS do not give you the right strength of anti-biotics you need straight away :-( I'm sure if you could get them over the counter they would be happy for you to pay for them, but I'm guessing the one's that are needed can only be perscribed, if you were someone rich and famous there wouldn't be a problem :-|
Linda why are you spoiling our fun by not using the old kindle ;-) we all enjoy it when you are away trying to work out what the words should be :-D
Carole those Cherry ripe chocolate bars look and sound delicious but quite expencive. Do they taste like bounty with cherrys, I ask that because they have coconut in them and are covered in dark chocolate like a bounty has.
Jem, read on the Welsh thread that your physio said you could cut back on the amount of time's you do your exercises, hope it will help and things improve soon for you <3
Hi ~~~~~~~ Berona, Persie, Huia, Sylvia and the other Dianne, hope you are all well :-) <3

Good Evening Amanda,
It is kind of heartening to hear the Aussies refer to Spring. It does remind us here that when winter does arrive, can Spring be far behind. Ii was gruesome here today, tremendous gale, and heavy rain, until about 4 o'clock when the sun appeared - not cold though. I do hope that no news is good news where the little girl is concerned.
Linda if I were to walk through Fairthingy dressed like that, I doubt I would survive :-D

Hello everyone :-)
Sue , I am sorry to hear your Uncle has passed away , I'm thinking of you all <3
Carol , your talking of your spring time has raised my spirits no end :-) , it is the best of both worlds here , on this lovely thread , as we slide into Autumn and the cold time we can be warmed by the happiness you lot are feeling at the beginning of your seasonal cycle :-D " Cherry Ripe " is also a song , that I used to enjoy singing ( when I could hit those high notes ) .
Linda , I can just see you wearing a kaftan and " flowering " folk .... lol I hope your holiday is rechargeing your batteries , it sounds divine :-)
Jem , the dead man in the park sounds like a grim find for whoever discovered him , poor chap .
Tec , if you don't start shouting about your poor leg soon we are all coming over to shout on your behalf !!
I have not heard anything on the " grape vine " about the little girl , and am hopeing " no news is good news " . There are " Police - serious accident " signs up just outside the allotments , they need as many witnesses as possiable I guess .
It is cold here tonight , I have the gas fire on .

I was thinking more along the lines of dressing you up in a nice sarong with garlands of flowers around your neck and roses tucked behind your ears and making you walk through Fairthingy unless you put your foot down tomorrow

Linda - Stop showing off about reclining on the beach. We all know you're in a B&B in Skegness :-D
I can't wait to be "flowered" by Linda. She'll be doing her Dame Edna impression, and beating me about the head with a bunch of gladioli :-D
Sue - I am sorry to see that your uncle has passed away. Condolences to you and the family. Did he live in the UK?
Amanda - My thoughts are with that poor little girl and her family. I hope she improves soon.
Jemima - The antibiotics I have are the most basic - usually given across the board for things like throat infections. I need much stronger ones for my ulcer. I do seem to have to go through this nonsense each time. I'll put my foot down with a firm hand tomorrow - but not the sore foot :-D
Carole - ALL chocolate is good for you :-D. The new birds in your garden sound interesting. I am interested in Australian birds. You do have some wonderful ones there.

Hi Everyone :-)
:-)Sue- I have just been reading about your uncle. I am so sorry <3
:-) Linda- It sounds like you are having a lovely time on holiday
:-)Tec- I'm worried about your leg. You must stand up to them! The medical profession have to stick to procedures forced upon them by the government for no other reason than costs.. Sometimes this means they have to first of all prescribe the bog standard drugs etc- before going on to other things. This probably costs them more in the long run I would think. I wanted Gaviscon Liquid for my oesophagitis. My doctor's computer would not let her print out a prescription for this, only a cheaper version, which is not so good. Solely for costs!!! :-|
:-)Amanda- Sorry to hear about the little girl, hope she will be ok. Upsetting for your girls. There was a man found dead in a local park, early Wednesday morning. The paper said there was no suspicious circumstances, but the fire brigade had been called! :-S
:-)Carole- I have just googled your Cherry Ripe!!! Tut Tut :-| It does look delicious, but as a former slimming consultant- oh dear! :-D :-D :-D
Hi~~~~~~~~~~Huia, Berona, Persie, Sylvia, Diane and the new Dianne with 2 ns!!! Hope you are all happy, well or coping! :-):-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Love Jem <3

Yes, antioxidants - they are good for you :-)
We have some new birds in the garden at the moment, not sure what they are but they have an amazing sounding call to each other. I always stop what I'm doing to listen, its so cheery. Yes, spring is my favorite season of the year :-)
Time for sleep, goodnight Sue, nice to finally chat :-) <3

I love Spring, Carole - everything waking up. We have a new little family of fairy wrens in the garden. They are so cute.
I would love to have some Cherry Ripe. Of course it's good for you - dark chocolate contains antioxidants......or something :-D

Just made coffee, would you like some of my Cherry Ripe? I figure they are made with dark chocolate and that is supposed to be good for you and cherries are fruit, so they are healthy :-)
Isn't spring the best season of the year :-) I was sitting in the gardens the other day, they have these long standing sprinklers, they stand about waist height. They were on and this Magpie decided to take a bath, sitting on the sprinkler. I attempted to take a photo on my phone, I must have got too close and he flew off, it would have been a nice photo too, oh well.

Sue, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle <3
That is sad about the little girl Amanda, I do ho p e she pulls through.
TEC, there is no "may" about it, you "will" ask to see the sister because if things go on as they are, you will get to the stage where you will not be able to look after the Duchess. You wouldn't want me to flower at you, now would you?
