Will your son be living anywhere near you Diane? Good if he is, because I know you like to do a bit of gardening.

Sue I also liked Bill & Ben, The Woodentops, Andy Pandy, Windy Miller, Zebberdee and The Magic Roundabout, Noddy, Ivor The Engine,.

Although I am many years older than either of you :-D

Today's children programmes seem so manic and noisy - there is no quiet time.

I must be getting old :-(

I have fond memories of watching Bill and Ben :-D

It's very grey outside and I'm sure we will have some rain. We can't complain because we really need it.

That is a nice thought Sue Brazil ( if only )
My son is over the moon about the house and he and his fiancee are looking forward to the move, it will mean she is nearer to her family who are only round the corner, as it is only a 2 bedroom house then they have most of the thing's to fill it as his flat is 2 bedroom, he will have to get gardening tools as he now has a garden and if they want any picture's to help fill the wall space I have plenty he can choose from that I had when I gave up my 3 bedroom house for this flat. He is hoping to get a decoration allowance from the landlord so that will help with re-decorating.

Oh well, at least you got out for lunch, though it was sad to have to pass on such news to your brother, especially as he knew your uncle very well.

It is a wild night here, wet and windy. I just had to go out to turn a larke pot with agapanthus in. The nearly dead flower heads were banging on the window :-D.
Maybe they wanted to come in the warm?

SueMaid Report 15 Sep 2013 22:58

No we didn't Tec - the weather turned nasty so we went out for lunch with my brother and sister in law. That was very nice except I had to pass on the message that our uncle had passed away. My brother lived in England for a number of years and he knew our uncle very well.

Thank you Diane for your lovely thoughts.

Did you manage to get out for a drive yesterday?

Hello everyone :-)

I think what happens Diane is that it is the doctor that has to prescribe antibiotics. As there was no swab done, he would merely get a message from the nurse to say she has a patient with an infection in a leg ulcer.
As he has no idea what kind of infection he will prescribe the most basic penicillin antibiotic, but I know from experience that I need a certain one that packs quite a punch.
It would have been good clinical practice to have taken a swab in the first place.
I will get it sorted out tomorrow hopefully.

Hello Tec I'm fine thank you just feeling the cold :-(
It's still not right Tec, one rule for the rich and one for the poor, you should still be able to get the right treatment whether you can pay for it or not,
I'm sure Taffy will still have a fun time with you even if someone else is taking him for walk's :-)
