I'm also a great rugby fan, and the matches do start in November.

I actually like the Spanish Teams since I followed them in their victory in the World Cup.

I prefer Rugby though. I am really looking forward to the Wales National Team Matches which I think is starting early in November.

My favourite football team is Newcastle. I have no connection with Newcastle, but have always followed them, through thick and thin since I was a boy.
Before television I looked forward to seeing them on Pathe News at the cinema.

I did see the news about the coach accident in Canada, but it was nowhere near where Sylvia lives. She is in the Vancouver BC area, and I think the smash was in Ottawa. Very nasty indeed.

The weather was much the same here, sunshine and cloudiness, and very windy, but I managed to get a line full of washing dried :-)

I need to charge my tablet battery, so I will have to say goodnight early

I will have to go back on a diet soon. I lost 3 and a half stone about 25 years ago, and I have managed to keep it off give or take a few pounds. But when I tried to lose the few pounds I had gained a few months ago I got a shock when I noticed my face becoming gaunt and panicked. Haven't been able to stop eating since!!!! :-0 :-| :-S :-D :-D

That is very kind of you, but I have just had another dinner. The food here is excellent, but after a couple of weeks, I am feeling rather over fed

I only had one glass at dinner, this was from our room bottle, we always buy some from the local shop so we can sip it on the balcony. There is plenty left so of course you may have a glass
