Linda I hope you make the most of your last day there, and the weather is good.

Diane how nice that your Grand Daughter has moved in with you. It will do you good to have company again, and fun to have the puppy around as well.

Hello Jude :-)
nice to see you on here.

Hello Linda, sounds like you are making the most of your time not having to cook :-D yes my grand-daughter has moved in and yes it will be company for me when she is here. She moved in Wednesday officially but as her nieces wanted to see her new puppy she stayed one last night with them. She stayed last night but as her and her other 2 sister's are all going to the Mint Festival in Leeds over the weekend she is staying with her elder sister ( not my one of my grand-daughters ) so they can all get up early for the coach on saturday, so needless to say I am doggy sitting :-) I have put a picture on FB of Coco ( her Pomaranian pup ) she is so cute :-)

GR posted on Facebook that they know people are having trouble with the site and are working on it. They can't even get in to post the, problem on the boards themselves, how crackers is that.

We have just had another four course dinner, I forgo the soup or it could be five. I am going to take badly to having to cook for myself again.

I know I am older the you Sue, I just look on you as my mischievous little sister, you often need to be sent to bed without supper.

We only have one more day Diane, then sadly it is back to reality.

Has your granddaughter moved in with you Diane? That will be good company for you and I bet you end up walking the puppy

Hello everyone :-)

Belated Happy Birthday Sue, hope you had a nice restful day :-) <3

Linda sound's like you and OH are having a lovely rest and time, how sweet to get a text off Eve :-) I hope Esme is doing well <3

Tec you must be getting fed up with that ulcer, as you have said you would think in this day and age of all the improvement's and technology they would be able to do more for you :-(

Jem hope you are feeling less tired today <3

Amanda hope all is well with you and the family <3

Berona, you really could do with some rain to give you a rest from watering your plant's, hope you are well <3

Persie, I find going out anywhere very tiring even if it is just for a walk :-( 2yrs ago I could walk a few mile's before I had a problem but that was before my prolapse disc.

~~~~~~~~ Huia, Carole, Sylvia, Dianne and anyone I may have missed, hope all is well with you :-) <3
Well my grand-daughter and her new puppy Pomaranian have moved in, the puppy is so tiny and cute :-)
My son has today moved into his new house and is really excited about getting it the way he and his fiancee want it.
Thank you Sylvia and Berona <3 Hope you feel better after a good night's sleep, Sylvia.
I'm not speaking to Linda - she is of course jealous because I'm so much younger than she is :-P
Oh dear. I've missed Sue's birthday too. How remiss of me.
Sue - Hope you had a lovely birthday and have many many more of them.
Is it really the big "O"? Then, an extra special wish for that too.
Nice day to-day, although not as warm as previous days. Plenty of cloud but no rain as yet. 22c, with a forecast for the same tomorrow. I never seem to not need to water my pot plants.
Hope you are enjoying your holiday, Linda and come home with a nice tan.
To all others - hope you all have a nice day/evening.
Oh no Sue, I missed your birthday, I am hanging my head in shame :-( :-(
Surely you can't be 60,you look much older than that :-D
Oops the tablet made another typo, that should read younger of course :-D :-D :-D
It is sunny today, so we are off to the beach,
I hope you feel better soon Sylvia.
I knew, I knew it was Sue's Birthday.. cause it is the same day as NZ women got the vote in 1893 .. only Sue is not that old.. but she has been voting for a fair while now but not as long as me...
Sadly I will always be older than Sue...
We don't go very far on the train Tec... it is suburban and it is easier (now that it is free) than taking the car or going by bus. Commute on train from our line into the city and then out on another line with no worries of parking etc and no hassle of other cars on the road.. very stress free. Today was just a trip to town and the City Train Station is closer than where our bus terminates in the city.
When we got back and collected car, we went to a nearby mall to sort out some banking etc and I had got rather hungry and as it was about 4.30pm we made it early tea and got some food from the Chinese Smorgasbord and ate at the mall.
Having a coffee now.. not sure why days out supposedly being relaxed tire me out.
Hi Sue, and everyone
Happy Birthday for yesterday, Sue
xxx
you certainly did keep that quiet :-D
Tec ..... good to hear that you are getting a bit more sleep. That always helps to make one feel better.
How lucky that your OH said she'd rather go home, so that you were there when she had the hypo.
I've been feeling off-colour for a couple of days ................ sort of nauseous and a bit of a tummy upset. I thought I was over it today, I felt great ................. until about 2 hours after I'd had my lunch. :-(
We were supposed to go out this evening, but I have called off, and OH is going to go to the reception by himself.
I suppose I've got to look carefully at what I had for lunch ................ which did not contain anything that I haven't been eating without any problems for months :-S
The weather is very pleasant here ................. sunny, about 18C. But i gather we have the first of the autumnal storms coming through late tomorrow. I need to find out my sou'wester and wellies
Take care everyone
Taking cuttings from an established garden is a great way to start a new garden. When we moved into our house we started out garden from cuttings from the last house we lived in.
The geraniums that I cut back almost to the soil have come up beautifully and I have flowers. Everything is a little early especially the orchids because of the mild weather.
It all sounds very exciting in your garden Sue. Hope the dahlias do well for you. Great time of year when you notice everything bursting into life again.
Everything in my garden went beserk this year, and I have a lot of cutting back and thinning out to do. I know someone who is starting a garden from scratch, so will take lots of things to her as she said she would be glad of anything I have to spare.
I can't bear throwing good plants away.
Joel thinks his mummy is old :-D
We have a lovely sunny day by the looks of it. Yesterday was glorious. Everything in the garden is waking up and the air smells like Spring. The flowers on some of my orchids are dying off now but I have new buds on two of them so more blooms to look forward to. I planed the dahlia tubers that my neighbour gave me into two pots so hopefully they will come up soon and my lilies are sprouting.
OH has some mushroom compost coming on Saturday so he will be busy spreading that over his veggie garden. Time to plant his tomato seedlings.
60 must seem absolutely ancient to Joel Sue.
I remember thinking that my grandfather was a really old old man. He died aged 62 and I knew it was because he was so old :-)
SueMaid
SueMaid Report 19 Sep 2013 23:01
Of course Tec - it wouldn't be a party without sausage rolls.
Joel asked me how old I am and I asked him how old he thinks I am. He said 33 :-D I told him that I'm 60 and he laughed and told me that if I was 60 I would be an angel in heaven :-D
