Tecwyn Report 22 Sep 2013 23:12

That lady is remarkable Persie - are you sure it's not you :-D although I know you are only half her age.

Sue at least I am getting on with it - just muttering and swearing (to myself) as I'm getting on with it :-D

Well I'm off to bed now,

Enjoy your day Sue, and Persie, Hello Berona,

Sleep well Diane,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

Morning our Sue .. curtsies..

Nighy (sic) Linda..

Tec.... I thought you might like to see this woman of 86..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFZE09YRklU

I have problems climbing a ladder.. my knees are none too happy about it and as for getting up from the floor.. even a giraffe getting up looks more elegant than I do.

Hi de Di.. how about a picture of Coco the pom on FB.. she sounds a sweetie..

So we can take it that your leg isn't half as bad as you're saying Tec? ;-)

Coco will keep you on your toes as little as she is, Diane :-)

Goodnight everyone

Tecwyn Report 22 Sep 2013 22:45

Hello Diane - I expect that you are enjoying looking after Coco, she must be quite small if she is a pom puppy - I can't spell it's full name :-D

We'll be ok - I'll manage, along with much moaning and grumbling of course - that's what men do when they're hurting - a bear with a sore head :-D

Hello Persie :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 22 Sep 2013 22:41

Well as soon as you are better you can put your frilly apron back on and recommence flitting

Diane

Diane Report 22 Sep 2013 22:41

Persie I nearly chocked on my coffee when I read your post :-D :-D

Tec it is good of Taffy's mum to offer her help, she probably feel's it would be nice for her to be able to return the favour after all the time's you have had Taffy for her :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 22 Sep 2013 22:41

Hello Diane :-D

At least you have someone to help with the shopping, Tec - you won't starve :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Sep 2013 22:39

The mother of the boy from the village died of exhaustion when she was put upon by people wanting help :-D

I know that I am a cantankerous old goat, but I couldn't cope with a lady who does flitting about the place.
If things get left, they get left - who cares?

Diane

Diane Report 22 Sep 2013 22:35

Good evening/ morning all :-)

Tec I think you could do with a break and rest, I fear for you and the Duchess with your leg getting worse, is there no way you could get help for a couple of week's so that you can rest your leg as if it get's any worse you are not going to be able to look after yourself and the Duchess.

Linda welcome back home you have been missed :-)

Sue glad to hear you had a nice relaxing time on the veranda, good to know the camper's arrived safely and I hope they have a nice time and good weather :-)

Berona it is good to have the company of my grand-daughter and her puppy even though I have to keep on eye on her when she wonder's around to make sure she doesn't pee-pee in the wrong place. Yes I do still miss Flick terribly and yesterday I found myself saying Flick instead of Coco when I was telling Coco to stop whining every time I went out of the room and she couldn't see me.

I have had Coco all weekend on my own as my grand-daughter went to the Mint Festival in Leed's on Saturday with her 2 sister's and is staying at her boyfriend's parent's house until tomorrow.

I am glad that you have some one to help you Tec. Perhaps you could get the lady from the village to come in for a few hours a week to do a bit of cleaning for you. You know, the mother of the boy in the village :-) I had a cleaner for most of my working life and it makes such a difference. Just stick a card in the shop window

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Sep 2013 22:27

Persie - you did make me laugh :-D

It is an automatic car, not a gun. I am too afraid of missing anything to shoot myself :-D

Besides, I haven't finished the decorating.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 22 Sep 2013 22:23

Yes Sue, things will improve when I get the right treatment, I has a word with Taffy's mother today, she said she will get any shopping I need, as I can't go round the supermarket. That will be a help, not that we need anything at the moment. I keep the freezer well stocked

Persephone

Persephone Report 22 Sep 2013 22:21

Tec's post at 21:39

he finishes up with "Thank goodness I have an automatic"

Automatic what? and then talks later that I think it's time they shot us..

Not sure what automatic you have .. you sound like you need a robot to help you with meals etc.

I do sympathise with how bad your leg is.. but it is not much use to you from way over here.

Glad to see you back into "reality" world again Linda.. :-) :-)

I have a lock of my grandmother's baby hair so that's a fair (actually auburn) age.. Carole

Oh dear :-(. I wish there was something we could do to help. Hopefully things will start to improve once you are taking the right antibiotics.
