Linda .. thank you for the update. I do hope that the doctors get somewhere soon, and that they can at the very least find something that stops the reflux quickly!


I'm going to be at sixes and sevens for the next 10 days or so.

I have no idea when I will be able to get on here.

Sis-i-l arrives about 8 pm this evening, goes for her test tomorrow, then leaves on Friday morning

We then have to set the room up for daughter and grandson, whose plane arrives at 11:30 pm that evening

Other friends arrive at about 11:30 pm Saturday evening ............. so we have to set up the hide-a-bed in this room, where I have the computer.

They'll leave after lunch on Sunday

Daughter and grandson leave on Friday evening next week.

I have read all the posts but can't seem to find out why we have to curtsey to Sue? Has she brought out that photo of her in her regal dress?

Tec - I hope the antibiotics have kicked in by now. Is there any relief with it?

Linda - My heart aches to think of little Esme. I hope they can isolate the condition soon and not take a long time about it.

Diane - How old is the puppy? If she's still a baby, are you diluting any milk you give her? Not sure about dogs, but my aunt had a farm and was upset when she told us about her kittens - 'just as they get weaned onto cow's milk, they get diahrea and die'. She was giving them warm cows milk - straight from the cow. As with human babies - it should start at 50/50 and slowly increase in strength. Hope the vet can help you.

Hello to anybody who is there.

My power went off last night, just before a programme I wanted to watch on TV :-| It was off for 3 or 4 hours I think. I just read by torchlight then went to bed. We had had a storm and this afternoon I drove up the road and saw what caused the power outage. An old-man pine on the roadside bank had fallen down and brought 2 of the 3 power lines down. I have put photos on FB. It went off again for 20 mins this evening. I think it was just the power company checking the safety of the dangling lines. It will be off again when they come to replace the lines, I expect. I must be ready to turn off the computer before the company turn things off. :-( if I am at home when they do it. It is only about half a km up the road from here. Maybe even less.

Yes it is Sue, funny how they go through time's when it isn't cool to go to Nan's house ( boring around age of 12/14 ) then like to come for a natter about thing's they can't tell their mum as she doesn't understand but Nan does, but their main reason for visit this time was to see elder sister's puppy :-D

I bet daughter's place won't stay tidy for long once the lilttle one's return :-D
