We had a lovely summer as you know. I hope you have a good summer too, but not too hot, as I know it can be there. The threat of wild fires must be a worry when you have a very hot summer.

I'm hoping for a dry winter. I don't mind a cold bright winter, but can't bear the wet weather.

It is early to have such high temperatures although I do remember occasional hot days in September before it gets cooler again until Christmas. I think a long hot summer may be ahead.

What strange weather you are having. Isn't it a bit early to be having those temperatures?
We had a gale force wind here this morning, all the trees were being blown about, and my wheelie bin took off. It stopped suddenly at lunchtime.
Quite cold this evening.

What a day it was yesterday :-0 Hot and very windy most of the day with the temperature reaching 30C. OH, SIL and grandchildren arrived at 2pm with the children full of excitement and stories. They then went off to unload the trailer. By the time OH came home the wind had changed direction and it was freezing and still very windy. Today it's calm and sunny.

Been a dull grey day here, but not cold, though we have the heating on this evening. It was extremely windy this morning.

I have done very little today - chance to do some work on my tree. Been into Wills and Probate today - very interesting.
Seems I was born too late to inherit the family fortune :-D

Well, I got half way through it, then OH came home and took over while I rusted up a veg curry for dinner

Everything is finished now thank goodness

When you have finished that great pile of ironing you will be grateful that your little friends were not around to distract you. :-D

Oh well as no one is around, there is only one thing for it, I am going to have to start on the huge pile of ironing. It is all your fault for not being around to entertain me

On my own again, I see. Hope you are all having a nice day. Ours was hot and windy again with a temp of 32 here. Bushfires have started and (yes, it's school holiday time) four children were caught and charged with lighting a fire which came dangerously close to homes. I don't like to see children used as examples, but I do hope the authorities 'talk' about what they might do to them - enough to frighten others off.

Very inconsiderate of Elizabeth - she must know that accommodation is difficult at that time of year. She could at least allow you to erect Sue's tent in her extensive grounds :-D

I don't think so Tec, I will have to find a hotel, but they will be busy at that time of year. I could stay with my daughter, but I would have to set out really early to get across London in time, so best to stay centrally

Tec we did try to warn you about over doing thing's, hopefully once the tabs kick in thing's will be sorted.
I don't think it has anything to do with my heart but Dr requested the test to rule out heart as a possible cause.
