We had the first proper fire in thee new fireplace on Saturday. It was wonderful. Will be very cosy in the depths of winter :-)

I have just read the very sad post from Amanda,

I'm so sorry Amanda. What a terrible thing to happen. The same thing happened with my daughter in the 7th month of her pregnancy with our Granddaughter number 3. She was induced the next day. It is heartbreaking for all concerned.

My heart is going out to you and your daughter and son-in-law, and the rest of the family.

Yes I can book a call with my GP. I did that a while back concerning the Duchess.

Can you book a telephone consultation with the doctor? Mums surgery used to do that, it saved people going in and the doctor could fit in more people that way

I can easily get the nurses to come to me, and may have to anyway, as I really struggled to get along the corridor at the hospital on Monday, and don't think I could do it now.
The doctors don't do house calls here, except to the terminally ill.

Amanda - I am so sorry that this has happened to your daughter. You are right, life can be cruel at times.
I know you will look after your daughter, but try not to fret yourself. Take care. <3

I'm just popping in quickly .Sad news , my daughter was sent to the city hospital today by the hospital here . An ultra sound has shown no heart beat for either of the babies . She has been sent home to see if nature takes its course .
As I had said only a few days ago I had mixed emotions at the prospect of twins but I would not have wanted this outcome . Life can be harsh at times .

I'll be back in a day or two .

Linda , it is good to know your on the mend and Tec I hope the nurse swab okay .
