Me ? brave? never :-D

Just ignoring it Persie - good job I am good at swearing silently.

We need to have a clear out here - loads of stuff could go to the charity shop, clothes, bric a brac, books.

That cousin sounds a very busy lady Persie.

You sound more chirpy today Tec.. or is that just a putting a brave front on it all?

I have sorted a whole lot of clothes and other articles for the charity shop.. It has been nearly a year since I have been there with loads of all sorts for them.

That place is also out west.. a cousin on t'other side runs it.. Then in the afternoons she is back at the boys school doing her matron duties... she stays the night at the school..

A little outing can do you good after being shut in for a few days. It poured with rain here all day.

Taffy was here, but can't understand why I won't play with him now - silly dog :-(

I have been doing sitting down jobs sorting things out which is good, I even went up my tree this afternoon

I did walk into the market square to take in some clothes I had sorted out from my wardrobe and to buy some meat for dinner. I took it slowly, but I was glad to get back

Tecwyn Report 3 Oct 2013 21:26

I hope you are not overdoing it Linda.

Persie - Can I come to your gathering? You could introduce me as your very strange Welsh friend - they would make allowances :-D

It will be nice to meet up with your family Persie and any meal out is always good

Steady now, I need to take it easy, although I have managed to do a few things today

Persephone Report 3 Oct 2013 21:16

It would be nice if we had a sunny day like yesterday Linda, but at the moment it looks like it could be a bit on the overcast side and decidedly cooler.... this is just my metrological report.

I will be lunch out today at a restaurant I have not been to before.. we are going out to where the "westies" live in Henderson.. have not dined in that area very much. The area does not excite me.. but have just been looking at it on line and looks okay.. The Falls Restaurant.. and I think there could be quite a few of us. It is school hols and my cousin has five grown up children with heaps of grandies and I think there will be a second gt grandie by now.

Jem, I had that annoying cough for years, in fact I often felt as if I was coughing up my toenails. I had a top-end-oscopy and was told I had a hiatus hernia, and the doc said the reflux was causing the cough. She prescribed some capsules to take each morning, and the cough now rarely bothers me, except when I have a cold which doesn't happen often these days, thank goodness.

Hi Everyone especially the walking (and not walking as in the case of Tec) wounded :-) :-)

Just a quick hello as I really should be tresearching ( as in researching my tree! ) I accidentally touched T and R together and came up with a new but VERY APT word!

Sue- I bet you are extremely busy now having your family reunion. Enjoy yourself. It will be great for you to see Aiden and his Mum:-)

Amanda- My thoughts are with you, your daughter and the family at this very sad time<3

Persie- Hope everything goes well with your op :-)

Linda- Hope you are recovering- don't forget your tablets :-)

Tec- Hope you had a better night's sleep :-)

Diane- I hope you will be feeling better soon :-)

I have had a persistent cough for 30 years. I have never smoked, and no one really knows why I have the cough. Different medical people have had opinions- asthma, acid reflux from the oesophagitis that I suffer from, stress, sinus (trickle tickle!) etc. It has wrecked the singing voice that I once had! :-(
My sister-in-law had the same type of cough for about a year once. She broke a rib coughing. :-|

Hi Allan- I bet the gang will be glad to see you back. :-)

Hi Huia- Have you taken any more stunning photos like the one you sent me? :-)

Hi Berona- Thankyou for asking about the baby- He's doing very well now :-) How are you keeping :-)

Hi Carole- How are you? :-) How is your son coming along with his driving?

Hi Mersey- How are you :-) Like your new Avatar!

Hope I haven't forgotten anyone. Hi to anyone else looking in on the Aussie Thread :-)

Love Jem <3

Hello Allan, i hope you are behaving while your OH is away

I will have you know that I am soberly attired in jeans and jumper Persie - soberly because it is far too early in the day to drink :-D

Persephone

Persephone Report 3 Oct 2013 10:08

Well that's the answer really Linda does magic can open an empty box and there is another strip of tablets..

and notice the carpet man is arriving while OH is out.. and then there is the postman who delivers three times a day...

What will she be wearing for the carpet man.. Victorian nightgown or pink fluffy dressing gown.. next thing Linda will be telling us she owns a onesie..

Hi Linda,

I won't ask if you are well, as if you have been taking antibiotics then the answer is obvious :-(

I hope that you are better soon :-)
