Blackpool? why not Skegness? or Southend-on-Sea? :-D

I'm off to bed now - hopefully to stat there,

Enjoy your day Sue, hope Drew is ok at the dentist.

Sleep well Linda, and Mersey who is lurking :-)

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

We would have a wonderful time - especially in Blackpool :-D. We could wear our matching "Kiss Me" pink cowboy hats and eat fairy floss :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Oct 2013 22:53

Of course I will go on holiday with you Sue, how do you fancy Blackpool

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Oct 2013 22:52

I like nasty urshams, bright happy little flowers.

I would love to be a fly on the wall with you two on holiday together :-D

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 7 Oct 2013 22:49

Linda ignored you Tec - obviously wouldn't dream of going on holiday with me :-(

I have some nasturtiums, they have climbed up some of the shrubs and look good at this time of year when lots of the other things have gone over

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 7 Oct 2013 22:38

Hello Allan - nasturtium :-D we've had them growing in hanging baskets but the go wild in the garden.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Oct 2013 22:37

Linda you could join Sue in Bali for a holiday. :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Oct 2013 22:33

Thank you Allan - Sue knows how to spell it :-D the flowers can be used to decorate a salad, and are edible.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 7 Oct 2013 22:33

You will still need your rest Linda so don't overdo things.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 7 Oct 2013 22:32

I wish you were able to get the bed rest Tec but I know that's not possible. Hoping you can get some help from Social Services.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Oct 2013 22:31

I'm not expecting much - but I can't think how they can help anyway. They may come up with some ideas.
The whole idea is to enable me to rest for a few hours a day - that's a laugh :-D

Allan

Allan Report 7 Oct 2013 22:31

Hello all,

Tec it is good news that at last you are being listened to, and I hope that the new treatment is effective, at least in lessening the pain :-)

I have seen a few earlier posts about Nashtur...Natyur...orange flowers that climb! We have them growing like weeds. We use the flowers as a food garnish and chop the leaves and put them in salads where they impart a peppery type of flavour.

Although I have never tried them apparently the young green seeds can be pickled and used as capers :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Oct 2013 22:26

Well take anything they offer, although it probably won't be much

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 7 Oct 2013 22:24

The dcctor wanted to put me in the local cottage hospital for 21 days bed rest, but he knows the difficulties I have, so he is arranging for Social Services to come to see me with a view of getting some help here - but I don't know what they can or will do.

We'll see...................

Tecwyn Report 7 Oct 2013 22:18

I'm hoping for a better night - the nurses are calling on me in future to save me going to them, as it's very difficult to walk now.

Can always walk on my hands :-D

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Oct 2013 22:18

I am more or less fine now Sue, just a bit tired, now and then

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 7 Oct 2013 22:16

My father had Oromorph, but he didn't take it on its own. He had morphine patches, but he used the Oromorph as a top up if he needed it

I am glad that they are taking more notice now

Looks like your moving forward with the medical people. About time. You must be very tired - hopefully your new medication may help you get some rest.
