Hello Tec - you will be floating with the fairies :-D

It was very hot yesterday. It reached 35C :-0. Much cooler today thank goodness. Very strange weather for this time of year. We seem to have gone from winter to summer overnight.

Good Morning Sue,

Have you heard from your son and Aiden since they got back?

Mersy - We do know you care, and you cheer us us and make us laugh with your antics.
It's fun to have a delinquent on the thread - apart from Linda :-D

Hello Everyone :-)

Persie, I hope you will feel better today, and soon become your usual energetic self.
and I hope the op went well, and you'll soon be mended.

Linda, Glad you arrived safely, and had such a welcome from Eve. If little Esme settles so well for Grandad then I expect that will be his job for the weekend.

Hello Chris - Welcome to the thread, I'm Tec, and live in North Wales.

Amanda - Good to see you. I can understand you will be less worried when your daughter is in the hospital where they can quickly deal with any eventuality.
Hope you don't have too harder time with all the baby sitting.
Try to get some time for yourself though.

I had my flu jab today, but the nurse called on me to save me going to the surgery. Apparently they did 600 yesterday.
Tomorrow I start on the morphine tablets that are stronger than the liquid form, although I can still take that as well if it becomes necessary in between tablets.
So now nobody will get any sense out of me at all. :-D

Today was sunny and bright, but cool - 11 C.

Hello to everyone.

Just popping in to say a quick " hello " .

Linda , I hope you have a lovely visit with Esme and Eve x

Tec , I hope you are beginning to see an improvement with your poor leg and that you are at least in less pain .

Good evening to Mersey :)

Persie , I hope you are recovering from your op okay .

Hello Sue , Berona , Carole , Allan , Chris , Huia , Diane and Sylvia .

Just a quick update on my daughter . She is going into hospital tomorrow morning as her miscarriage has not happened naturally , apparently these situations can go on for several weeks and I guess time leaves the way open to infection etc . I am , of course worried but will feel a bit happier once I know she is safely in the hospital . She seems to be coping very well or she is putting on an extreamly brave face.
I shall be up to my eye balls with babysitting over the next few days but will try and pop in to let you know how things are going .

xx

We had an uneventful journey. I collected Eve from nursery and sh ran up to me and gave me a hug. She is safely asleep after halftime and stories.

Esme has grown she is twelve weeks now, but still has to have all of her milk through the tube, grandad is giving her cuddles now, sh Esme to settle well on him

I am glad that you are OK Persist, maybe we should all try morphine
:-)

I am just typing this as a where I have got up to.. bit dopey from morphine tablet at the moment.. had my little op yesterday morning and was actually feeling better yesterday than today.. been and had a long sleep earlier this evening........

However, not able to go on a moped or moon hopper.. but think you should watch out on this bungey jumping lark our Mersey. Billy Connolly did it in the nude when he was here.. oh the effects of gravity...

HI Chris.. I am Persie from NZ who has driven along through Mole Creek. Twice when we have been in Tassie we stayed at the old Deloraine pub which we really liked.. we have been all over Tassie but that was the only place we stayed at twice.

Second time around we went to your wonderful Trowunna Wildlife Park. We were so glad we stopped off there were shown around by a lovely young lass (Esther I think her name was)...

I will talk to the rest of you later ..

Persie ..

Hello Allan and Berona and welcome Chris. Your son in Wombarra is only a 30 minute drive from where I live - it's a small world. My eldest son and grandson live in Hobart :-)

Berona

Berona Report 10 Oct 2013 00:28

Good morning all. No point in saying 'goodnight' because they are all most likely asleep by now.

Hello again Allan and welcome Chris. My goodness, Chris, your family is spread around - all in different states!

I have just popped in between rounds of watering my pots and gardens. Can't stand up long enough to do it in one session. I have to do a bit, then sit down for a while before the next time. We are preparing for the hottest October day on record - forecast 39 for Sydney city and that means 39+ where I live, on the western side of Sydney. So, I'm off again to do more watering. Hope you all have a nice day.

Thankfully Aiden is old enough to understand why his dad is away and yes they are able to be in touch through Skype.

It's good that your son is enjoying his work Sue - sad that he is away from Aiden, but time quickly passes, and I expect he is in touch by computer
