I am going out early this morning, to Pukekohe, to take some photos to try to prove to some people on a group on FB that I know what I am talking about, and they are wrong. Somebody used my dad's old photo (1924) and everybody thinks it is the Pukekohe Youth Centre, but that was further along the road in an old newspaper building.

It has been raining really hard all .morning. Despite that OH and I walked into town with Eve in her buggy all snuggled up under her plastic rain cover.She slept all the time we were out, probably because she had been awake since 5.30am. She is refreshed, now, but I am shattered. I am on baby holding duty while OH and my daughter make lots of trips to the nearby rubbish tip to get rid of loads of unwanted things Eve is "helping" them, so apart from Esme who is snoring away I have a few minutes peace.

So do I Mersey and the the restaurant we went to is a very good one. Coffee at my brother's house and a good chat made it a great night out.

Yes Allan we have another hot day today. Amazing weather for October. I'm not ready for the heat yet. I'm not complaining though - my son has just gone up to Weipa for 6 weeks work and he says it's very hot and humid.

I see that NSW is in for another hot one today :-(

We are still suffering wintery conditions in the SW. I was in a place called Greenbushes last evening. which is about 87 kms south of here, and when I came out of the meeting at 6.00pm to head home it was blowing a very chilly wind.

Up north, of course, daytime temps are now in the low 40's :-0

Sounds like a great day out. We had a quiet day yesterday (Saturday) then went out for a Chinese meal with my brother and his lovely wife. Wine was also involved :-D

That was dreadful Allan :-0 :-D

We are a bit quiet this morning. Linda will be exhausted playing with her girls all day and Tec has his daughter visiting and is hopefully getting much needed rest.

Sue I had a lovely day out with a very nice friend I have not seen for awhile :-), went for coffee and a looooong chat, shopped a little, went for a gorgeous meal with abit of wine thrown in, then shopped a little more till I got the train back home.......A lovely day with great company just what the doctor ordered :-D :-D
