My brain's still pickled I'm afraid! I'm incapable of any sensible speech! Mersey's pink glittery moped is running on pure alcohol and my brain absorbed all the fumes coming out of the exhaust :-D :-D :-D

Tomorrow (Monday) is Canadian Thanksgiving ........

........ we're not going anywhere or having anyone in, so there will just be the of us.

To be honest ......... we're glad to be on our own, and not rushing off or rushing around for people coming here. We've been so busy recently!

OH picked up a turkey breast from the butcher yesterday, he will roast that. I'll make sage and onion stuffing. He MIGHT make sausage meat stuffing.

We'll also have all the usual fixings, plus a sweet potato casserole that I love.

we're having some lovely weather!!

Sun, blue skies ................... but cool temperatures, around 12/13C most days. It's getting down to 6 or 7C at night, so the duvet is needed. There's been a little bit of rain and clouds, but not much

Such rotten weather when daughter was here, and now such good weather. Not fair! :-(

Anyone remember laughing gas at the dentists????????

I used to have to go to the school dentist, and remember having laughing gas whenever they took a tooth out ................ and they did seem to take teeth out then rather that preserve them as long as possible, as they do now!


In fact, I haven't had a tooth out since i had my wisdom teeth removed at the age of 21. So I actually have no idea what they do here when removing teeth!

I know the dentists I've been to here have all been very good at giving injections to keep the pain down ................ especially after they discovered that I have one nerve that goes in a different direction from what it is supposed to do!

Yes, much cooler this morning. More like Spring.
Sue - I envy Drew, having his teeth attended to while he sleeps. I only wish that was possible when I was his age. I can imagine his Mum though. It's a bit scary to think of them having anaesthetic, but it's great these days - no after-effects, etc.

Tec - you do worry me. I hope you get the help you need and get it soon! Don't overdo anything.
