It is another glorious sunny Fall day here ............. definitely an Indian Summer!

Why could it not have been like this when daughter and ehr son were here, instead of pouring with rain almost every day?


I have to go the docs this afternoon, and have that punch biopsy .......... a precaution only.


But first .......... I'm going to make my lunch sandwich .....................


........... cold turkey, with sage and onion stuffing AND cranberry sauce




it'll probably be cold turkey for dinner this evening as well

In response to a pm from Mersey, I requsred that she gets a silencer fitter to her moped. So as not to alarm me whn I'm nodding off. :-D

Rose - Hello, the GP has asked Social Services to contact me. Someone phoned on Monday for some details and I am expecting someone to call on me. I am not expecting too much from them, it will be interesting to hear what they say. Meals are not a problem as I am having Wiltshire Farm Foods deliverd. They are qite good. Ten minutes in the microwave, and we have dinner.

Hope to come on the thread later - assuming I can remember my name. :-D

I'm sorry to hear you are both having a rought time Tec, hopefully you will feel better soon, are you getting some outside help? ( no not with the garden lol, I mean someone coming in to help or do meals) though knowing the area as I do I am less than optimistic that it will be 'enough' help.

I am sorry that I hav'bt been around much.

Thankyou everyone for your concern and kind messages, that I w ill answer when I can.

Things are not good here, but we are managing. The Duchess has a severe chest infection, but has been on antibiotcs for four days, so should see some improvemt soon. This has caused her blood sugar levels to be all over the place, but I am keeping a close watch on things.

As for me, well I am in a lot of pain. They have increads the morphine, a stronger dose of tablets and liqid to take every four hours round the clock. c.

I may come on the thread tonight, UK time, though by then I am usually "out of it" and would talk gibberish - as usual :-)

Thanks again for your concern, it is appreciated, but we are ok.

Hello Berona, I don't envy your hot weather. I also hear you have bush fires as well, I hope they can have them contained soon and that the weather cools oh and some rain, lots of it.

I'm back....just doing the dishes.

Ive been looking on a site to try to find a bird that has been visiting my garden, no luck as yet.

I have no idea what everyone is talking about, so it's back to the weather again.
Another hot one to-day, although the wind wasn't as bad as it has been previously. Still some bushfires burning, but no more homes at risk as yet. It's the stock and wildlife that I worry about as well as the people and their homes.

Nice to see you here again Allan. What's this I see about you getting old and forgetful? I can't imagine that and I'm sure you still have an intelligent conversation with the wheelie bins. My best wishes to your good lady wife - and the cats too.
