~~~~~~~~back to Mersey, from New Zealand. I will be going to bed soon, it is almost 9 p.m. and I am tired. I hope I can sleep. There is an almost full moon and I always seem to have trouble on nights with a full moon (must be some were wolf in my ancestry). I think it is just the brightness, or perhaps the gravitational pull on me, as the moon does with the ocean. :-S

We had another glorious Fall day ................. a little fog in the morning, then sun and blue skies. The temperature is chilly .............. the high was about 12C today!

This weather is supposed to last through the weekend

Why oh why could it not have been like this when my daughter and her son were here, instead of pouring with rain?!


I have given this year's lesson to the Resident at the Family Practice Clinic

I don't think he had done a punch biopsy before, so that was my lesson for him

The Staff Doctor was also there and guided him through the procedure .............. which also told me what they were doing and how they were doing.

It might take up to 3 weeks to heal


Problem of course is that I don't stop bleeding easily, and the shin is an area that can bleed a lot.




so, tonight ............................


I will dress OH's ear, and OH will have to add another dressing on top of the one that is on my shin


I go back for the result in 2 weeks time ..................... on Hallowe'en

I'v had my daughter and 2 of my grand-daughter's here since around 4pm and they only left about half an hour ago so wasn't able to look in on the thread until now.

Tec so sorry to hear you and the Duchess are not to good at the moment :-(
I hope you get things sorted about your possible DVT ( as if you are not suffering enough without the added worry of this ) please take care and I hope things will soon improve for you and the Duchess, I wish I lived near you so I could be of help to you both <3

Berona I wish it would rain a bit more for you so as to give you a break from all that watering :-( nice to have good weather but even in your winter time you seem to have had to do a lot of plant watering, take care :-)

Hello Rose and Emma, nice to see you pop in :-)

Well I'v had 3 busy days, Monday went to see my Councellor for my last councelling session,Tuesday went to CAB to sort out my appeal for Atos assessment, then had to go and explain to Council Tax and housing about why my benifits had stopped, did my weekly shop and then my friends took me back to their's for a couple of hour's, and today I went for my tilt test accompanied by my daughter then came home and 2 of her daughter's ( my grand-daughter's ) had arrived and they all stayed for tea and didn't leave until around 10-30pm.
So I'm looking forward tomorrow to a relaxing day at home :-)

Well now I have typed this I will get off to bed for an early night, good night to all Up-topper's and enjoy your day all down-under's :-) <3

Edited= OH OH OH just reading through my post and got to Jem and realised I missed saying Hi to Mersey :-( so sorry Mersey how very amiss of me, but you wizz in and out so quickly I miss catching you :-D

Hello Berona , I hope you are keeping well and that the pot watering routine is not wearing you out to much , especially in the heat .

Tec , I am so so sorry to hear that you are having such an awful time , health wise . You must be sick of all the pain and bother . I hope you get the medical help you need tomorrow .

Things are okay in my world at the moment . My daughter has made a good physical recovery and seems to okay emotionally .

It has been very Autumnal here for the past week , windy , cold and hardly any sunshine . The allotments are pretty much cleared and OH got a delivery off " pig shit Pete " yesterday......lol No doubt he will be busy for the next few days , flinging it hither and yon .

It looks as if I have missed almost everyone , so I'll say goodnight / have a good day to you all .
