We have been seeing each other over the last couple of months Jem, but this is the first time we have spent a day together. The first meeting was very emotional and it is just like getting to know each other again. All seems to be going well.

Did you have a good time with your brother, Sue? It must have been an emotional meeting as you haven't seen each other for a while!

Thank you Linda for getting in touch and letting us know - it's good to know you will be able to get updates. We are all so concerned for our dear Tec <3

We are not really near the bushfires but we had the smoke and some ash. It's burning embers that can cause problems. Berona may also have got smoke from another fire in the Blue Mountains. Carole as far as I know is not near any fires at the moment.

Just been reading about our poor Tec. Glad that his daughter is there to look after The Duchess. Let's hope that him being admitted to Shrewsbury will get something done about those terrible ulcers of his.

Thank you for letting us know Linda . I have been worrying about our Tec all day . It is good he is going to the prefurred hospital .
When you phone Tecs daughter for an update ,please pass on my love and best wishes to him .

Tec's daughter has arrived so the Duchess will be fine. The doctor has got back to him and the ambulance is coming to take him to Shrewsbury, I know he prefers that hospital over the other one. I have his permission to phone his daughter, so I will wait a couple of days before I get an update

At least you know the Duchess will be safe Tec and I am sure your daughter will shout long and hard on your behalf

Not that I don't like talking to everyone else of course, I had to post that because you know how touchy that Sue can be :-D

Hello Everyone,

Just a quick update - I am still here, as you can see.

Phoned the nurses at 8-30am, and a nurse arrived at 9-15.
She did the usual tests before speaking to the doctor. BP, temps, pulse etc.

Doctor phoned later to say he was arranging transport to the hospital at Aberystwyth. I got ready for despatch.

Doctor phoned back to say that the hospital wouldn't admit me without him having made a diagnosis personally, and could I get to the surgery - well I can't, because I can't walk.

Doctor arrived at house at 2-15pm. Did a thorough check, and was here for an hour.

Then he decided that he wanted to speak to the consultant I had seen once before in Shrewsbury hospital.

He said he would get back to me later, as I may have to go to Shrewsbury.

It is now nearly 3-45 pm and I've heard nothing yet.

I am all packed and ready to go when the ambulance arrives - if it arrives :-0

My daughter is on her way here to look after the Duchess.

So that is the state of affairs - I am sort of in limbo at the moment.

If you hear nothing further then I'm either in Aberystwyth, or Shrewsbury.

My daughter just rang to see how I was. It seems that Esme disgraced herself this morning by throwing up all over the health visitor. The special predigested milk she is on reeks, so this poor woman was in a right state
