No it is Eve my three year old grandaughter who gave it to me. just do as she does and wipe your nose on first one sleeve then the other, it saves on tissues and the clothes would be going in the wash anyway :-D

I have just been watching the bush fires on Sky News,its so shocking and I want to wish you all safe wishes and know we are all thinking of you in the areas and the surrounding areas....

To all who are having a bad time at the moment my thoughts are with you and hope things improve for you all in time <3 <3 <3

Ive been looking at antiques, not to buy, I just like looking. I saw a desk for sale for $850.00, I have one very similar except mine looks much older and doesn't have the original handles. We saved this desk from a rubbish heap, had it re-sanded and varnished and I love it. OH uses it for his study, although I keep reminding him, its really mine :-)

Hello everyone, I hope you are all safe and well.

I am up, showered and dressed and I feel like I have run a marathon :-( That beautiful little granddaughter of mine certainly has something to answer for after sneezing in hanma's face. I think that you were right Sue, that I have just had that really bad kidney infection, so what should just have been a cold has really pole axed me. Still onwards and upwards and of course it is absolutely nothing compared to what poor Tec is having to put up with.

My father had a skin cancer on the top of his ear Sylvia, they just cut it out and he was fine. It left a little v shaped knick in the top of his ear, they offered him a skin graft to cover it up, but he thought that was daft, so he just left it and I don't think anyone ever noticed it.

I don't often call in here but wanted to today to firstly say: I hope all our friends are safe still from the awful fires. Thinking about the tragedy of people losing their homes.

And secondly to say I hope that Tec gets his ulcers sorted out now and that they are looking after him well in there. I miss his cheery posts on the Welsh thread as I am sure most of you do on here.

And, not forgetting my manners, good morning (it is here) to Sue and all of you regulars on this thread. :-)

Diane, work is fine :-) I try not to work too hard, although you know how hard it is when you work in the care industry its not the type of work where you can slack off, its usually go, go, go. I do tend to talk a lot though and sometimes get behind in my work in doing so, but its worth it, you will understand :-)
To put a smile on someones face is the best feeling in the world :-)

I have booked 2 weeks off in early December, so plan to catch up on some well needed rest and relaxation.

Thinking of all those affected by the fires in NSW, so devastating and in what is supposed to be Spring! I think mother nature has missed a season and gone straight on to Summer!!

I hope everyone is as well as can be <3
