Two days I've tried to get on this thread and every time it's

OH read in our local paper that a pilot fighting the fires in NSW
has died and apparently it is the second fatality.

Stay safe everyone and if reported correctly my deepest sympathy
to the families concerned.

If I'd known that they were going to provide him with a Zimmer frame, I would have arranged to send over one of my wheelie bin bodyguards. These are constructed of the plastic equivalent of sapient pearwood as used in the construction of Rincewind's 'Luggage'

Extremely loyal, and not to be messed with! It, and Tec. would make a formidable team :-D

Thank you so much for keeping us updated about Tec , I have been thinking of him every day . I'm sure he won't like the idea of useing a frame to get around but tell him from me , I had to use one when I was 28 . I'm sure he will soon be rid of it but for the time being he must view it as a good friend .

I had Bella here last night , blimey , I won't do that again for awhile ....lol As she is three and therefore " free range " I feel have to stay in the room until she is asleep ( there are so many things up on shelves in my " craft room " that could be dangerious ) . She feel asleep at 7.30 pm ...lovely , she woke up at 10.30 pm .... and didn't go back to sleep untill 2.30am , by which time I was feeling more than frayed . Lo and behold 6.30 am and there she is , fresh as a daisy and rareing to go .......grrrrr , poor old Nanny has been lugging herself about for the rest of the day . I do believe it is time for bed now , so night night x
