Another example of the small world I see

Berona...I was born in Oxford Street, and Mum and Dad lived in Everton Valley until I was about 18months old, then moved to where I am now......10mins away from West Derby.......I love the area, indact all family have been christened and married at St Marys right next to Croxteth Country Park which is beautiful still :-D :-D

Well the parents came back early, they had only gone for a meal in the centre, so I have come back home. Time for more coffee I think

Good morning all. It's 9.12am Saturday here in Sydney. Welcome CT. We do have something in common. One pair of my grandparents settled in Maitland in the 1880's and I was born and raised mostly in Newcastle. Went to school in Sydney when my Dad was transferred but back to Newcastle to finish school and until 1962, when my late OH was moved to Sydney. He was born in Everton Valley and raised in West Derby - so my children are all half-scouse.

Tec - so glad to know you are back home. Sad about Taffy. I hope another dog comes into your life when you recover. Please take care and take all the help you can get. My best to your duchess.

I'm on the games thread, but not for long. OH's choir is having a sausage sizzle today, so off out soon to help set up, and then have to collect second have of the sausages. Picked up 40 kilos yesterday, and the same today.

I think that I'll give any sausage meals a miss for the next few weeks :-D

Had Granddaughter 1 staying here all week as it's half term. It's lovely for Grandson 1 to have her company. They are very close as there is only 10 months between them.
