I am not stressing believe me. My biggest concern will not be falling over in my shoes. I haven't worn heels for ages. That is another reason for wearing the first outfit, I have some brown shoes with lower heels which will go with that one

It's rather exciting. I only know one other person who has been to the palace - very much a Mrs Bucket type of person who stressed dreadfully over what hat she should wear :-D

I don't need to, my sister does, she has something she says looks like a satellite dish.
I only wear sunhats on holiday. I may see what I can find once I have picked the outfit

Do you have to wear a hat? I'm not a hat person although obviously I wear one in the garden and it's necessary in places like Bali. I hope I get to see a photo :-)

I bought a second possible outfit to wear at the palace, but I am not sure about it. I think I prefer the original one. I am going to take them down to my daughters and get her help in choosing. I will sell the one I don't want on Ebay.

That's what OH said. I think he would be off again in a flash :-D

It's not summer here yet - this time of year the weather is very variable although it has been a very warm October. Today it's forecast to be wet and very cool.

I have finally unpacked completely and the house is back to normal again. As I bought some summer clothes and very little else it was easy to put things away. The washing was the biggest job. OH put away the suitcases so our trip is officially over :-(

The young chap who lives next door has just come back from a business trip to Sydney and Perth, he has only been away for one week. he said he thought it was supposed to be summer down there, but it didn't feel like it

Just an update on Tec

He thanks everyone for their concern

He has had his morphine tablets increased to double strength, which is helping with the pain a little bit, but they are making him feel really spaced out. He doesn't feel well enough to come on GR at the moment. he is also having trouble using the computer,so he apologises for not replying to the kind messages people have sent him.

I am sorry that you are still having bother with the tooth Diane. I always think it is better to keep a tooth rather than have it take n out, unless there is no other option

Did your dentist not do a root canal before crowning Diane...

It sounds like abscess underneath and if it feels too big then dentist has not done that paper rubbing thing they do between your teeth to see that it fits okay.

I had toothache many years ago and dentist filled tooth.. and ache was still there and went back and he pulled it out. I have always regretted it.

A lot of his patients were people of low income and he always chose the cheapest option. When I first went to him he asked me how I was going to pay and I said with money.

Linda you must be relieved to see it all done just in time for christmas, I hope the op to put Esme's tube in her tummy is done soon so that your daughter and SIL will be less exhausted, the daughter of a friend of mine had to be fed through a tube in tummy and she found it a lot better than through the nose as it didn't take as long for the feed to pass through.
My new crown isn't right :-( when I eat it is a problem ( as though it is to big ) it is painfull to chew on it and I am still having pain so I think I will have to go back to the dentist and tell him to take the tooth out.

I have give lots of stuff away. I put the carpets on the freecycle site and they went straight away

It was easy when we redecorated the spare room. We had already taken everything out because we had the built in wardrobe put in and we were getting a new bed. It took the carpet fitter very little time to lay the carpet. I'm dreading the living room being carpeted. It isn't a big room but we have a large cabinet that will need to be emptied. Probably not a bad thing as I can give it a good clear out.
