Cooler to-day. Only 24 expected - with showers. One shower was attempted at 6am but came to nothing. All over within three minutes - and not enough to water any pots!

Good Evening/Morning everyone,

I couldn't cope with 36 C. it was a dull overcast day here, not a glimps of the sun, and 10 C.

I don't seem to have been outside for weeks now, except for the taxi ride from one hospital to another last week.
The next sunny day I shall try to venture into the front garden for some fresh air.

The cleaning lady came today. She was very thorough. Hooverd through ground and first floors, and staircase, cleaned the kitchen, and bathroom.
She raved about the vacuum cleaner :-D.

The nurse also came and is to see the doctor to increase pain control.

Tomorrow the denture man will be back to do another impression of my mouth :-0

Haven't posted to-day yet and I suppose everyone is busy doing all kinds of things.
Hot day to-day - 36c but my place is cool in the mornings, so I didn't feel the need for the air conditioner until mid-afternoon - but it's still on now at 9pm.

Sylvia - that's so sad about your sister in law. What can I say? I know you and your family will give her all the support you can. I just hope she is not in much pain.

Tec - I hope you are behaving yourself and not doing any painting, wall-papering, or anything like that. Not this week, anyway! Hope you and the duchess are both recovering more each day.

Hello and goodbye

I opened the computer this morning to find some cinema admin which had to be dealt with. Now I am going straight to the church to add the glittered bits to our display. That only leaves one more bit to add, but that is down to my friend and she has until the preview session tomorrow evening to do that

Then I am going straight to Leeds to see the new baby, phew another busy day, I want my peace and quiet back :-) No chance of that though as we are off to Oxford tomorrow to see our son.
