Allan - I suppose it's a new take on "Dress Code Casual" :-D

Hello Tec - getting out for a haircut will be good for you - especially if the sun is shining. Things are hopefully looking up for you and the Duchess.

I had a very busy day yesterday with a new group of volunteers so I am relaxing today. I may do some gardening :-)

Allan

Allan Report 29 Nov 2013 22:25

Tec, good to hear that you are getting out and about :-D

Never mind about the slippers...some people in Oz actually shop in their pyjamas

It's an unusual place to find food, but hey ho :-D :-D

Hello Allan,

Thank you - things are slowly improving for us both. I am not able to do much, and have never sat about so much in my life.
Now I know the meaning of "couch potato" :-D

I think the weather is topsy turvey everywhere, Allan - maybe the UK will end up with our climate and we'll have their's :-D

Hello Everyone,

Another dull day here, but tomorrow is supposed to be bright and sunny, though turning colder. I don't mind it getting colder so long as it's bright.

My brother is coming back to see me tomorrow. He has asked if there is anything he can do while here. Well I desperately need a haircut, so he is taking me to have one.
I can get out to the car using my walking stick, and we have railings along to path to hold onto. There is a narrow pavement outside the hairdressers, so he can drop me off outside, then find somewhere to park, and collect me afterwards.
I will feel very silly walking in my slippers :-D but as I can get anything else on, I really don't care.

Linda I hope you have a lovely weekend with your son in Oxford.

Are you off to the markets today Sue? plants and other treasures.

Mersey thank you for the pink cuddles :-D we call them cwtches in Wales, and they come in all colours.

Sylvia we are very pleased with our cleaning lady, she is very nice, and nothing is too much trouble - so yes, she is a gem.

Tec :-)

Hello Allan - I'm up and about now :-D

The weather here is very changeable. We have one very warm day then a couple of cool days with rain. It is cool now and will be all day but tomorrow it will be warm again followed by three cool days again. My daughter told me that she never knows how to dress the children for school.

Hello All

Sue, you lazy monkey! Just got up indeed! :-D

Tec I hope that all is continuing well for the Duchess and yourself :-)

I don't know about the Eastern States of Oz, but here in the West (at least the SW) it has become increasingly weird. Thursday morning the temp reached 34C then mid afternoon it turned humid after clouding over. The temp dropped to 19c. Yesterday it started to blow a gale, which has continued overnight. Last night we gave serious consideration to lighting the fire :-S

I went to the doctor's today ................ to have my 6 monthly check-up and a bp check.

Everything's fine ................... and he doesn't want to see me for 6 months, unless it is for a prescription refill :-)
