Yes someone will always complain no matter what, and no one is force fed Christmas pudding I'm sure :-D

SueMaid Report 30 Nov 2013 21:51

No matter what is chosen someone always complains :-(. Last year someone said they wished Christmas pudding wasn't always on the menu :-0

Hope you enjoy your Christmas lunch today. As you chose the menu, how can you not?

Glad that you get on better with your brother now - like I said, maybe we change with age. Perhaps things will improve with your sister one day - I hope so.

Hi Mersey,

Yes it was a good day, and so good to get out in the fresh air as I haven't been out for over six weeks now.
The Duchess is a little better, though she still has an aggravating cough.

Keep sprinkling the fairy dust :-)

Hello Tec - it is a lovely sunny morning.

We are off out for a Christmas lunch today - the first of four this month :-0. I chose the menu so I'm hoping it is a success as there was very little input from anyone else :-| OH and I will enjoy it :-D

What a lovely trip out with your brother. It's funny but I dont get on as well with my sister now but I get on better with my older brother.

Good morning Sue, I hope you are having a nice sunny day today.

Hello Mersey - Pink cwtches to you :-)

I hope men don't decide to go shopping in their pyjamas :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 30 Nov 2013 21:33

Good Morning Persie,

Thank you for the cwtch, any colour, well perhaps not pink :-D Everyone deserves a cwtch now and then. As I don't see you as a pink lady, I'll send you one in turquoise.

Yes the haircut happened - my brother dropped me off outside the hairdressers, and as there was no one waiting I didn't have to hang about. Now I feel like a new man. What with long hair, and my part dentures having been lost I felt like a wild man. Don't think I ever looked so dishevelled and unkempt.
Should have my new teeth a about a week.
Thank you for the coffee, it was very nice.

After the haircut I took my brother to sit on the promenade. He has not been there before, so we sat on a bench looking at the sea, and chatting like two old geezers :-D. :-)
It is strange, I have never got on with this brother, and hadn't seen him for eight years until recently when he heard I was ill and came to visit. Now we seem to get on very well - I guess we have changed with age.

Mersey - I definitely see you as a pink lady flying about spreading fairy dust :-D

Berona I feel so much better now that I'm out of the wheelchair, and can walk again albeit with the help of the zimmer, and today managed to shuffle along on my walking stick.
I don't think coffee affects my sleeping, as I know it does many people. I have to have tea in the morning though.

SueMaid Report 30 Nov 2013 21:06

Hello everyone :-D

Persie - hope you are well. I hate windy days. I get very irritable....not like me at all ;-)

I was shocked the first time I saw a girl out and about in PJ's :-0. Mums also drop their children off at school wearing PJ's - what if the car breaks down on the way home? :-0

Persephone

Persephone Report 30 Nov 2013 20:41

Cwtches in all colours to all of you ..definitely pink for you Mersey <3 <3

Auckland does not hit the 36 degree mark, yesterday was windy as without being cold got buffeted from one place to another and having to hold the car door open and get objects plus self into the car became a feat in itself. :-S :-S

Tec you are sounding so much better.. how was the haircut or has that not happened yet.

Like Allan says people go shopping in their pyjamas, they come out late at night to do their supermarket shopping or to the Warehouse (which has clothes, toys, manchester and other items) :-0

I am about to put the kettle on.. so coffee all round.. and I can make some mousetraps to go with the coffee if one would like.

Cheers Persie :-) :-)

Hello Berona - looks like I've just missed you. Cool and miserable today with a little rain.

Tomorrow we are going out to the first of a number of Christmas lunches. It will be very nice as I chose the menu :-D

Berona

Berona Report 30 Nov 2013 09:01

Good to know you are getting around and doing things, Tec. Hope you are not over-doing it though.
Sorry I missed the coffee. Tell me, how do you sleep, having coffee just before going to bed? I never drink it after mid-afternoon - otherwise I go to sleep OK, but wake up around 1am and toss around for three or four hours before going back to sleep - then sleeping late!.

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 29 Nov 2013 23:10

It was excellent coffee, Tec :-D

Sweet dreams to you and the Duchess <3 <3

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 29 Nov 2013 23:09

of course, then roast the beans, then row the Atlantic - so I hope you enjoy the coffee after all that effort..

Well I'm off to bed now,

Enjoy your Saturday Sue, however you spend it,

Goodnight,
Tec :-)

Tecwyn Report 29 Nov 2013 22:32

Yes Sue - it will boost my morale getting a haircut, and I will enjoy the ride out.
This time last week we were still in hospital.
I am so relieved that my daughter and SIL have a weekend free to themselves for a change.

Going to make coffee now :-)
