Hello Linda :-) One Chance was previewed and critiqued on the telly the other night. It looked interesting.

It poured through the night - enough to wake me up a couple of times. The rain gave the garden a good soaking but as it's sunny this morning OH is saying that he will be mowing the grass again by the weekend. At least the grass is green :-)

It has Huia, I googled it along with New Zealand and it brings up a page all about it on your Ministry of Health website

I wonder if it has reached New Zealand?

Hello Huia. It's a viral thing that lots of children seem to get. I don't know what causes it but it can spread like wildfire through children at school. They get blisters in their mouth, hands and on their feet.

Will some kind soul please explain what this hand, foot and mouth thing is? I have never heard of it. (Apart from foot and mouth in animals.)

There , now I feel much more festive , with my christmas avatar ....lol

Good evening Tec , it is good to know you are pleased with your handrails , that sort of adaptation can be very useful .
It is also reassuring to know you have a " panic " button .

I have been looking through my old photos on the PC , trying to find a suitable christmas one to use as an avatar on here . I am getting quite lost in the past , looking at the Grandchildren when they where smaller :-)

I also found Hand Foot and Mouth funny - I thought it was a livestock problem :-)

Thank you for your nice comments about my son. He has worked very hard and deserved the results he got. He has been able to get some work doing some research over the summer break before he starts his last year. He is happy because he has finished all the subjects he has to do and he is now going to do subjects he wants to do.
