Thank you Tec :-)
I have a few spare pounds for you as I'm sure over the christmas period I will soon regain them :-(

Persephone Report 4 Dec 2013 22:38

Linda does have some "batty" ideas.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Dec 2013 22:37

Going to be windy tomorrow, especially for you Linda :-(

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Dec 2013 22:37

I must get on with my day. I've only made the bed :-(

Goodnight and good day everyone <3 <3

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Dec 2013 22:35

Yes Linda - I could hang on a hook behind the bedroom door :-D

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Dec 2013 22:34

That sounds horrible Tec

Maybe you should hang up on a hook on the wall to sleep :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Dec 2013 22:33

At the moment I take a tablet called MST every twelve hours, and then liquid morphine called Oramorph every four hours in between.

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Dec 2013 22:31

Persie a morphine pump would be good, as I could then use when I need it most, which is usually first thing in the morning. I'm in agony then, which has something to do with becoming vertical instead of horizontal, and blood reaching the nerve endings.
I get this pain to a lesser degree if I sit down for longer than about an hour

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Dec 2013 22:28

Maybe you should ask about the morphine patches instead of the tablets Tec, they seem to work better by putting the morphine in slowly

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Dec 2013 22:26

You can all donate some weight if you like. Might save me having to buy new trousers :-D
I don't mind looking like a sumo wrestler :-D

Persephone

Persephone Report 4 Dec 2013 22:24

I was wondering if you should have a morphine pump but then that would be an extra load to wheel around with you.

I had one when I had an operation and second night I thought gee this is good and relaxed and went to sleep only to find out in the morning that it had been accidentally switched off the evening before... so must have been power of positive thinking that I had it.. LOL
:-) :-) :-)

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Dec 2013 22:23

How about we all send some weight to Tec - I'm sure Tec wouldn't mind looking like a Sumo wrestler :-D

Tecwyn

Coffee and mince pie for Diane - Hello Diane :-)
Hoping to have increased morphine on Friday - I sound like some kind of junkie :-) but it is necessary in view of the pain I'm in again.

LindainHerriotCountry

LindainHerriotCountry Report 4 Dec 2013 22:19

That is not too much Tec, you can have more if you would like :-(

SueMaid

SueMaid Report 4 Dec 2013 22:19

Hello Diane - hope you are well. My mother is well thank you .

Diane

Diane Report 4 Dec 2013 22:18

Hello Persie hope you are well :-)

Tec you have just answered my question before seeing it :-D :-D

Tecwyn

Tecwyn Report 4 Dec 2013 22:14

Persie - I think that league match is best forgotten :-D but I'm not a great fan either.

I am making progress, insofar as I'm upright, using a walker instead of the wheelchair, but the pain is increasing again, so the doctor is coming out to see me on Friday about pain control. I think he will increase the morphine.
I have an appointment to see the consultant in February.

Linda if you could spare about two stone that would put me back to a comfortable weight. If that's too much, anything will do. :-D

Hello everyone,

My youngest son had Hand, Foot and Mouth when he was a baby :-(
I thought it was thrush at first but because he was crying every time I tried to feed him or give him his dummy I took him to the DR's, when the DR told me what he had I said " he's not a cow " the DR said it was the human form of it. He had it so bad that the blisters in his mouth went down the back of his throat and I had to take him to the hospital but they said there was nothing they could do but did say that if his breathing became affected I would need to bring him back and they would need to have him in hospital to help him with his breathing, thankfully it never came to that. That was the first time I had ever heard of it in human's.

Linda I hope all the expert's are able to sort things out for Esme and things get easier for her mum and dad <3

Tec coffee and mince pie sound great, how are things with your pain management, did you get the higher dose of morphine ?

Sue how is your mum, well I hope ?

Mersey how are you, did you hear about the 2 women who were found dead in Knowsley village and if so do you know what happened as I haven't heard anymore about it ?

SueMaid Report 4 Dec 2013 22:06

I still have a drop of milk but I don't have enough dairy products and I like yoghurt.

Tec - it will take awhile before I would be overdoing it. We have an appointment with a dietician who will hopefully guide us into the right way to lose weight.
