December weather is usually quite unsettled, Tec. Last Christmas was actually quite cool. Our hottest months are January and February.

OH is growing potatoes for the first time. The plants are growing like wildfire so I'm hoping we get a good crop.

It's very cold here ................... but that's nothing compared with what I'm reading and hearing about the UK

My favourite place, Scarborough, seems to have been badly flooded .............. even the Lifeboat Station had water pouring through it!


Tec ......... I was wondering if they could come to you, rather than have you driving over there! Do be sure to get them to come out to take you into the clinic!

The news coverage has been going on all day , following the tidel surge down the coast .
I should have realised it was on the cards , we started the day with the most fantastic sunise I've ever seen , the bedroom was bathed in an orange glow and the whole sky looked incrediable . Red sky in the morning , shepherds take warning !
I'm half expecting the power to get cut off at any time , the flood water is bound to do damage .

I am back with coffee as the person I called was busy, they are going to ring back

Our weather yesterday was very strange. It was sunny and warm in the morning but overcast by lunch time. Then it rained on and off in the afternoon. By late afternoon a strong wind was blowing and it felt like winter.

The doctors will make house calls in an emergency now.

One did come out to me a few weeks ago when I was initially taken into hospital, but he was called out by the district nurse who was visiting me.
